We had our CNY dinner at this restaurant and really enjoyed the dishes we ordered, both in presentation and taste. We were attended to promptly by the friendly staff but did have to ask for a couple of empty dishes to taken away from our crowded table. All up, a very enjoyable meal and time

The food is outstanding. The only thing that was less than perfect was the front door kept jamming open. It let in a freezing cold breeze which was really annoying.

Have dined here several times and enjoy the quality of food. Prawn and ginger dumplings are always good. This time tried the short rib and while the flavor was nice, the ribs were rather tough.

Must be the finest Chinese food in Canberra at the moment. As a member of a wine and food group who dine on a regular basis, I will definitely recommend Tasting China to anyone who appreciates good food.

I really love the food here. Its always amazing and the there is so much flavor in every dish!! They have recently changed the menu with some of our favorite dishes gone, but it was still a fantastic dinner.

Wine list was limited but the restaurant acknowledged that the list is under reconstruction. Beef ribs unfortunately were more rib than beef. Flavours were good but more meat on the ribs would be great.

Had an early reservation which meant it was not crowded. Food quality very good again. Service also very good. Nice meal.

As per usual the food and service were fabulous. The team are extremely efficient and accomodating . This time had children as well and were very helpful in advising dishes that would be suitable. Definitely one of the best restaurant in Canberra.

Quality of food was very good. Nice menu. Portions are large so suitable for sharing, but makes it a challenge if dining alone. They just need to offer some things in smaller portions to solve this. I have been here a few times and the service has been good on some visits and in need of improvement on other visits.

Overall great consistency in quality of food. If you are an eggplant lover though, don't order the eggplant chips as they were very disappointing compared to other places in Canberra. Nice atmosphere.

Banana Fritters were great! Lobster tail serving was a bit of a joke serving size. A bit of a hiccup with the booking but it worked out in the end.
