Der Abend war sehr schön. Das Essen super lecker und sehr reichlich. Der Chef kam ein paar mal selber an unseren Tisch und hat sich nach unserer Zufriedenheit erkundigt. Wir können dieses Restaurant nur weiteremofelen.

Had a great dinner. They were clearly very busy (NYE) but the service was good in the cirsumstances. We loved the Roman artichoke in particular.

This was just AMAZING. It was our last meal in Rome before leaving home and I can only say WOW! Simply amazing. Restaurant itself was very cosy, service was just superb, we got complimentary savoury dessert before our meal and it was super delicious. Restaurant is not the cheapest, but as we got our discount, prices got below Rome’s average. 10/10. Highly recommended!

Worth the visit, as you are immediately thrown back in time with all the pictures on the wall of famous stars of the cinema of the past., who I guess, used to be frequent punters of the Taverna. Therefore, the mood is not young and vibrant and I wouldn’t expect to find there any new cinema starlet. :) Anyway, food was good and tasty although served with not so much “love” or “care”.

2nd visit. 1st time (2017) was great, the 2nd time (2018) exceeded my expectations. Great service and great good. I will go back again when I visit Rome the next time.

Even though the food and the service were nice I was really disappointed by this place. We felt really great there until we received the bill. I booked with the 50% percent and when we got the bill we were charged full price. I started to talk with managers ( or I don't even know who they were, 2 women as everyone was dressed nicely except them), showed them my confirmation mail that I booked with 50% discount, and also on the app the discount, but the answer was: that's not their problem they didn't receive my booking with the discount from theFork. I speak 5 languages and als Italian which they didn't know and talked about me quite nasty way. Then they got me 20% discount and they acted like they are Gods with this action and I am just some stupid little girl... Their attitude was disgusting. The problem was not that I had to pay full price, rather their attitude towards me. After I got home I contacted with theFork and they confirmed that they sent my booking with the discount! Disappointing!
