10/10The owners of this restaurant are very hospitable and pay special attention to their guests. We felt very at home and were delighted with the quality of our meal. Everything is delicious. We would recommend to everyone looking for a nice quiet authentic Italian experience.

10/10Real authentic Italian restaurant in Rome. My girlfriend and I ate here twice in 3 nights. This is an old school spot ran by 2 awesome ladies, an amazing chef and their dog. Very nice, welcoming and funny owners. You can’t go wrong with any dish. Will definitely come back every time I visit Rome and would recommend to everyone.

3/10Vitello Tonnato was missing half the ingredients. Amatriciana was barely passable. Wine was fine but for some reason it was difficult to order and it came 20 minutes later. How is it difficult to order wine in Italy?

9.5/10Reservations required at this wonderful restaurant. The 2 ladies who own it are very nice, one speaks a little English the other almost none, but the food is exceptional. We had the homemade ravioli and roast beef, wine, and we each had a homemade dessert that was so good we decided to get tiramisu. Our meal was one of the best we had during our 2 week visit between Rome, Venice or Florence.

9.5/10We ate our Thanksgiving dinner here and it was absolutely wonderful. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, fresh and delicious. Some highlights were the vegetable soup, the wild boar and the pasta bolognese with amazing homemade pasta. Our server Antonio was attentive and provided excellent recommendations. We were in the lower level which was a little less charming than upstairs, but the only place for our large group.

10/10An amazing place, the one’s you want to keep as a family secret. The two ladies managing this taverna are so lovely and are serving an amazing and tasty food, with local receipts. Taste and happiness are just meeting and you can see it is not a tourist place as local are there as well to find a little place, just to enjoy the magic of Roma taste!

10/10This is one of my favorite restaurants in Italy. Actually we went there twice during our 3-day trip in Rome. We love the way they deal with meat (beef, fish, shell, etc.) -- tender but resilient, creamy/rich but not greasy, with fresh vegetables and the best vinegar. Miss it already and definitely will come next time.

9.5/10Charming place with reservations required because the food and atmosphere is excellent but not many tables. Communication limited with non English speaking staff, but menu in English helped. Highly recommend this place.

SEMPLICITÀ - A pochi passi da Castel Sant'Angelo, nel cuore di Roma, sorge il Ristorante Taverna Ripetta. Un ambiente accogliente e molto cordiale, impreziosito da un arredamento semplice, ma allo stesso tempo elegante. Il personale di sala è sempre attento e disponibile nei confronti della clientela. COSA SI MANGIA - Il menù del locale offre un'ampia selezione di piatti, sia a base di pesce sia di carne, preparati seguendo le ricette tipiche della tradizione romana. Non mancano, però, influenza nazionali ed internazionali. L'ottima tagliata di carne argentina ne è un esempio. CONSIGLIATI - Assolutamente da provare i tipici primi piatti, tra i quali carbonara e amatriciana, ma anche gli eccezionali dessert fatti in casa.
