We were looking for a unique dining experience.. the pasta with sea urchin was at best difficult to eat.. the taste of the urchin was overwhelming. The steak meal was raw. The sweet potato fries were excellent. We liked the ambience, and hope they succeed however none of us actually ate our meals. The appetizer of roast beef was paired with sea urchin and avocado. Such a bizarre pairing. I think they might be able to survive as their intent and objectives are creative.

Superb food and we loved the design of the restaurant. It's a little off the centre where most tourists go and they probably want 'average food served outside' rather than going somewhere with vastly superior food in a modern way. Please go and give them a go as they really deserve to do well

Teatro is located on a quiet, narrow , nice street. I had a 7 course chef’s menu with wine pairing. Both the food and wine were excellent and the presentation was attractive. The service was super friendly and nice. Highly recommended!

The best restaurant in Taormina - we ordered the 5 course menu (65€) but after the first few courses we asked if we can upgrade to the 7 courses menu (85€) because the plates were so so so good! Of you are really hungry - try the 7 courses! We were searching for that special taste - and we found it there! The staff was really attentive and nice and the chefs brought the plates to our table and explained everything! So if you are in Taormina - go there! The restaurant is a little bit outside of the action so it’s not easy to find if you’re not looking for it - but from the main road only a 5 min walk! We really loved our evening there - Grazie Mille, Teatro44 - da veramente il miglior ristorante in cui abbiamo mangiato qua ! Complimenti

The staff were so welcoming and very friendly. i loved the way the restaurant was decorated. the food on the whole was absolutely delicious and very authentic with excellent wine pairings. We booked quite early and as such were the only people in the restaurant for the first half which affected the atmosphere. The fish dish was a bit salty for my taste but other food was great.

Teatro44, an excellent restaurant, the food was superb and the service was great. If you visit Taoramina, this is definitely a restaurant for a special occasion, as it is something to celebrate.

Opened in January 2022. Modern, fine dining restaurant at the end of a busy side street. Dinner was one of the best in our 14 day vacation around Sicily
