10/10What a memorable evening! From the excellent personalized service to the delectable food, Temperos da Zézinha was our favorite restaurant in Porto/Matsinhos. When I told the server that I was allergic to wheat, the host brought me special gluten-free crackers to enjoy the tasty octopus spread and then even made me a special homemade gluten-free creme brûlée for dessert. We enjoyed octopus salad, prawns with garlic and grilled sea bass for two with smashed potatoes and greens. My husband also liked his figs with port ice cream for dessert and enjoyed the homemade bread with chorizo. We had an excellent white wine. Prices were also reasonable. The restaurant is owned by a friendly family with mom in the kitchen and the son as a personable and warm host who did everything he could to make our anniversary dinner so special. We loved this restaurant!

10/10Temperos da Zézinha is a great family run restaurant in Matosinhos. The food is of high quality and reasonably priced. Service is also superb. We had lamb chops, which were done to perfection. We highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10Excellent cozy little place with great food and impeccable service, totally worth a trip from Porto to the vibrant beach area of Matosinos! Food tasted simply great, absolutely divine house wine, reasonable prices and terrific stuff soaring no effort taking care of you! The chef comes in and asks if you liked the meal, the servers are super friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are very reasonable! Such a delight!

9.5/10The food is great, awesome fish and super fresh. The seafood rice is to die for. It is a small and cozy restaurant, very clean. The staff is attentive and quick. It is not particularly cheap, but I do believe the quality of the food justifies it.

10/10I could not figure out why this cozy restaurant hasn’t gotten more notice in general until the owner explained that they had opened just before the pandemic and then had to close. They’ve been open and closed over the past couple years so really didn’t have much chance to build a following. Well, they deserve to be followed! Atmosphere, service, and food we had were top-notch. We kept it simple: clams in a garlicky broth and the cataplana with octopus, prawns, clams, etc. We had to ask for a bowl and spoon because we wanted every drop of the broth. Straws might have been even better. Seriously tasty food and the wine that was suggested paired perfectly. I’m coming from an expensive city in the US so to me the prices were very reasonable. All in all,for the quality and portions. All in all, Temperos da Zézinha is a winner!

10/10The food was amazing and well worth the moderate price. My friends and i each tried each other's food and loved it all as well as the wine recommendation! The service was above and beyond even what we'd typically experience in a great American restaurant and the owner's son was great company and information about the food itself since none of us knew much. I've never been a fish stew fan but the monkfish stew with rice blew me away. I plan to come back to Porto next year and I'll make sure to stop by here.
