Steak tartar a cuchillo, chuletón, chuletillas de lechal salteadas con ajetes, entrecot, solomillo… La carne es la estrella de este acogedor establecimiento del centro de Alicante, cuyo nombre es ambicioso, pues pretende ser eso, un templo para los carnívoros. Para lograrlo, ha desarrollado un sistema propio y único de maduración de la carne para potenciar sus sabores. Se trata de una maduración limpia (la carne nunca se estropea y sigue el proceso natural de curación) que consigue unos sabores puros.

Este coqueto y luminoso asador, donde mandan las maderas, trabaja con vacas de las razas Holstein y Simmental que destacan por una infiltración de la grasa muy alta, lo que se traduce en texturas suaves y sabores largos. Las maduran entre 30 y 90 días y luego las asan como en el País Vasco, dado que sus cocineros se han formado allí. La carta de vinos combina las grandes botellas con referencias poco conocidas.

    From start to finish a true pleasure. Aged ribeye presented with a flourish, cooked to perfection, sliced at table, nice touches with bread, oil, croquettes, amazing cheesecake and chocolate fig cake. Great staff. Lovely touch of cava bottle for our wedding anniversary

    Quite a limited menu, but the quality of the steak was good. We weren’t asked what we wanted with it and a bowl of skinny fries arrived each which we wouldn’t have ordered if known. Might be worth explaining what comes with the meal as no side dishes were advertised or discussed. We wouldn’t go back but the service and food was still good.

    Yeah, its expensive for Spanish standards, but its worth every penny. The meat is just that great. The wine is just that great. The waiters were that great. We dont regret it at all, a very superb experience.

    With a group of 12 we had a room for our self wich was nice. And the steak is the biggest we have ever seen, tender and moist. Would highly recommend Templo. Ones in a lifetime experiance.

    Absolutely superb, the staff were ver attentive, but not overbearing. The steak was excellent and the wine list more than adequate. I was introduced to a Spanish brandy that was also an excellent end to my meal. If you are visiting Alicante and you like your steak, this is a must. Good work guys, will be visiting again

    Good meat but rather high prices(for Alicante price levels). The french fries were home-made, however 1 small bowl for 3 people only. When ordering an extra bowl they initially intended to bill us an extra, which they dropped without discussion on our request.
