About the restaurant Tenorio

Ubicado en el emblemático Passeig de Gracia en Barcelona el restaurante Tenorio es una brasería mediterránea que forma parte del reconocido grupo Cacheiro. Este espacio gastronómico, que cuenta con una situación privilegiada en pleno centro de la ciudad condal, apuesta por una cocina desenfadada y divertida que utiliza productos de primera.

Para empezar con algo de picar apostamos por una Tabla de embutidos ibérico que nunca falla y croquetas caseras de jamón. Como plato principal recomendamos decantarse por la receta estrella de la casa hamburguesa de solomillo. De postre la Crema catalana quemada es también una apuesta segura.

El restaurante Tenorio sirve una cocina que apuesta por la innovación y que presenta creaciones sorprendentes a la vez que deliciosas. ¡Reserva mesa y descúbrelo tú mismo!

For the price range and the overall feeling of the place, it would seem that it should be a fanciful dinner with masterfully prepared local dishes by an expert chef... well...


The starters, sardines and gazpacho were OK, but we've eaten tastier versions for half the price in tapas bars. For the main courses we decided to take the chef's suggestions: we had the black rice, which was too salty, the grilled octopus was dry and a bit chewy.


The waiters all too kind removed the rice from the bill, it was the first time I had grilled octopus, so I did not complain about it, perhaps chewy and dry is how spaniards eat their octopus...


In general the service and the overall restaurant ambiance was great, perhaps we were the unfortunate ones who got an unexperienced cook in the kitches, other clients seemed to be enjoying their meals.
