Lovely family restaurant - great food and great service

My wife and I had an amazing dinner here. The service was impeccable. Considering we didn’t speak the same language, we felt like we were having a family gathering. And it was nice to see that I is a woman owned restaurant.

The food was excellent and staff were very friendly. We had the fish soup which was lovely and creamy with loads of fresh fish, salad was fresh and well dressed. The fish cakes were excellent as a starter. For mains the daily special of duck with rice was good, but the octopus and steak with peppercorns excelled. We had the white sangria and a bottle of the cheapest white wine, which were both good. Would highly recommend. Excellent value for money.

The restaurant is very cosy with 20 places to seat, so it is important to book. The menu is quite rich with some specialties, it looks a family driven restaurant - I enjoyed the octopus with red rice and octopus pieces. It was gorgeous, fried but light and so tender. I also ordered the green salty grilled peppers and a small red sangria that matched very well. My kids had the small steak of the house with egg on top, rice and homemade fries - All very good and cheap!. We highly recommend it -

If you like a small and cosy restaurant with quality food, here is the place. A perfect way to finish your day away from the crowded beaches 50m away.

Wonderful food and very kind service!

Really friendly establishment with a home-cooked feel about the food. Everything I ate was delicious from the house salad to the liver and onions followed by apple crumble. The portion sizes are very generous. Be hungry when you go and make sure you book a table; there are only about 20 places and people were being turned away when we went.

I simply love this place. The waitress is kind and always smiling, the food is perfect, the atmosphere is charming and warm and the prices aren't high at all. What else could I wish for? It is worth to book a table, since the place seems to be full very often.

Excellent meal, well worth the trip from central Porto

We were very happy. The server is a delightful woman who told me that her English is so good due to YouTube, but her service is exceptional regardless of language. Her Mother is the cook, and a treat one at that. This was a wonderful experience all around.
