My favorite place to eat in Florence. It's not a tourist trap, everything is absolutely fresh, you feel like you're at a relatives home everything is so intimate. I will say one thing to look out for is the owner is always making suggestions like we ordered a second dish and he said okay I'll do the sides or he suggested a bottle of his most expensive wine, so you do have to ask about extra costs because at the end you might be surprised. However, being that everything was so delicious we were happy. Very difficult to find an authentic place with local dishes in the center of Florence.

The "Gran antipasto toscano" is a must if you're not a local.

Amazing discovery! This little cozy restaurant serves only farmer organic goods that they harvest themselves. The food was amazing and the staff was really nice. Fell in love with the pasta with goat cheese and pear. Definitely recommended!!

Most flavorful food I can ever remember eating in a restaurant. Concept of "farm to table" exemplified here. Each food was fresh and seasonal (menu is about to change). Just an overall tasty, comfortable meal. Thank you, Riccardo!

if you want food fresh from the farm this is for you. host was welcoming, please be aware they prefer being paid in cash. the wine was little more expensive than other restaurants, but you could taste the freshness of the food

This is why you visit Italy; The people, the food, the service, the experience,..all as genuine, sincere and excellent as it gets. A small restaraunt run by the “farmer” who raises the food you eat. Make sure you ask Ricardo to choose the wine for you. Wine: perfect. Appetizer: perfect. Main Dishes: perfect. Atmosphere and warm personal service: perfect. Nothing else I can say. Ricardo is a great host. The tuscan starter was delicious. The wine and grappa was fantastic. The food is made from the heart and from their farm so you can't really go wrong.

Best Tuscan food, warm and friendly service. Authentic Tuscan food from local farm ingredients. This has been by far my favourite meal in Italy. This place is a lovely hidden gem, and I would highly recommend it.

Great food and great service!!

This was our last dinner in Florence. We were able to have a lot of countryside food we had not had yet. We split dishes - we had the Ribbolita to start (excellent taste), a new pasta dish with zucchini that they were adding to their menu, and of course peposo. The meat of the peposo dish fell apart with a fork and was so tasty. The beans were likewise excellent. Finally we were able to have zuppa tartara before we left (this was a decent meal for two but we left room to have a second dessert of gelato since it was our last night). The service is a little quirky, but charming. They really emphasize their relationship with the countryside and local farms. It was one of our best meals on this trip. Note the restaurant does not accept credit cards - it's worth it, though.

It was my best experience in Italy in terms of restauration. The Owner is very Kindy. The food was excelent and it's possible to eat the Toscana products.

Great and honest host that obly serves the food coming of his own farm (white wine, forget it; tea, we don‘t grow tea leafs). The grandfather of Tiramisu (Zuppo Tartare) is fabulous. For the main dish, be ready for Farmers food!
