About the restaurant Terres de Truffes Paris

This is a cosy very nice restaurant. We enjoyed truffles true nice dishes. Bacause we are Japanese, it is quite rare to have an opportunity to taste true truffes. I strongly recommend this nice restaurant to my friends.

Food is top quality, staffs are friendly but a bit too busy. The atmosphere is overall old school cozy but not that delicate.

We had to have a truffle meal while in France and we found la Terre de Truffes. We had high expectations in terms of experience and taste. The flavour of the truffles was much more subdued that we had imagined; we did not add truffle oil in order to experience the unadulterated flavour. The dishes were well presented but disappointing in terms of size and accompanying ingredients. While the focus was on the truffles, the dish in which they were offered lacked originality, quantity and ingredients to highlight or compliment the truffles. One of the highlights of the dinner was the lava cake; it was divine. Having said this, this was the only restaurant we ate at in France where we left still hungry. The service was non-existant after sitting down other than bringing the dished to the table and this was quite disappointing as we expected a high-end dinner given the price we were paying. An overall once in a lifetime experience that fell short of expectations in all regards.

We loved our meal..had the foie gras, shrimp with risotto and the lamb with mashed potatoes and then the cheese. It was delicious and you had fresh truffles on it all.
