Excellent
Good food and good wines. A nice discovery in Cascais. Not the cheapest place but worth a try.
The owner was personable, accommodating and knowledgable. But then the food and wine was amazing!

A good thing about not being able to return home to the UK, was that we got to visit Terroso more than usual. Last night, as ever, the food was excellent, as was the service. This is traditional Portuguese food at its finest, provided by a family-run business - highly recommended.
Great to be back in Cascais and at Terroso. A bit quieter than usual, but still the same good feeling. Excellent food and service, as ever, with a wide choice. Will be returning again.
It is always a pleasure to eat @ Terroso. Great to see that it is now so successful. Best to book to avoid disappointment!
My wife & I had another wonderful dinner at Terroso. My wife's tuna was perfectly done. My all-time favorite Portuguese meal, Carne de Porco à Alentejana, was again the best I have ever had in Portugal and we have been visiting all parts of Portugal for over 40 years. Sitting there at Terroso and watching all the other diner's meals coming out is like being at a Portuguese Culinary Master Chef school. Wonderful cozy restaurant experience. Extremely highly recommended.
On a lonely Wednesday evening in January was only my wife and I but boy did we enjoy it. We tried starters, 2 main courses (fish and meat) and it was the best meal we have had during 10 days traveling Portugal from north to south. And the wine recommendation was absolutely top class. Go or you’ll miss out big time!
We tend to eat dinner early. We really appreciate the quiet atmosphere, comfortable seating, charming dining table setting. Service is attentive without interrupting. Food is lovely. Wine options are well recommended. We truly enjoy the whole experience!
The owner is very thoughtful and competent. Local food is simply great and well presented. Recommended!
Absolutely delighted with our dining experience
We did not have a pleasant evening. The food was average and the service left a lot to be desired.... should have read ALL the previous reviews ... Not going back..
Very rude owner, the dish we got was very disapointing from every pount if view, a fiew very flat pieces of dry and extremely salty meat. The answer was that this is the tradition (of eating shoe-sole tough meat?!) and he is not going to change it for tourist purposes. He can continue his way as he wants but what is that kind of talking and why diidn't he explain all this to us right from the begining( we asked about the dish)?
There could not be a best place to taste genuine Portuguese food, discover rare wines and enjoy a friendly welcome. With Pedro you always learn things about wine, uses or traditions. We loved our table outside, but the inside also looks very welcoming.
Super find - in a back street - I can see they are passionate about their food and wine! Superb ! They went out of their way to make sure you had the best meal . Wonderful experience
This is A chef and husband owned business, they take a great deal of pride in everything here;the food, the decor, the impeccable service. Warm, knowledgeable - the Owner circulates the small comfortable room . The seafood is local and fresh caught, other options and Portuguese specialties abound. Don’t miss this “off-the beaten path” treasure in Cascais.
What a quaint place. The owner was incredibly helpful with choices and although wine list did not reflect what was available, alternative choices given and explained were brilliant. Food was tasty, traditional and good quality.
Delicious food, attentive and friendly staff and a lovely wine selection.
Lovely little restaurant tucked away not far from the main road. We reserved for 1930 and just as well because the restaurant was fully booked. We had bread olives and black ham to start and the dish of the day for our main (COD fish and fried potatoes) we finished with butterscotch pudding. All washed down with a bottle of local wine. Delicious!
Fantastic restaurant and AMAZING food! A well chosen menu with a superb selection of wines so I must say: everything was perfect. The restaurant is very cosy and small so I advise you to book beforehand to avoid disappointment. But please, don’t miss this place! For sure it is the best restaurant in Cascais... a truly hidden gem ❤️
