An absolute hidden gem! Fantastic surroundings, beautiful food and fantastic service made for a perfect birthday treat. The Chaat menu is excellent.

Incredible atmosphere, almost mystical with the low lighting, the rising temple-like arches and sparkling garden visible through the windows and skylights. We were served by Martin who was very attentive, polite and friendly. A great choice of restaurant for a romantic date night. The food was delicious!

The staff service is excellent, professional and responsive! All the food are nice with good value of money! We ordered the green curry, deep fried squid and chicken and risotto! The cuisine is the fusion type with European and Indian style. Love it

We had booked a table at 11:00 pm after theatre on a family weekend in London. Arrived at the restaurant at 10:45 to be told kitchen had closed. Some serious miscommunication between the restaurant and The Fork. Very disappointing.

Fantastic service, beautiful restaurant. My partner had a prawn curry which he said was amazing. My dish was good but I wish the menu had mentioned actual bits of garlic onthe klDessert was incredible!

So glad that the restaurant was located within the hotel complex meant I didn't have to worry going outside in the cold. Also the food was incredibly delicious to eat, the staff/waiter gave us useful suggestions for what to choose from the menu too.

Deliciously tasty food. Excellent service. The restaurant is in a beautiful hotel but this restaurant itself was cold in temperature and a bit bland in décor unfortunately. Had a fork discount otherwise on the pricey side.

A história dos hotéis Taj começou em 1901, quando Jamsetji Tata idealizou vários projetos para colocar a Índia no mapa de turismo global. Ele estabeleceu a primeira unidade, The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, no centro de Bombaim (agora Mumbai), que se tornou o principal destino para hóspedes muito importantes de todas as partes do mundo. Dishes were missing off the menu. No hot spices alert Food very disappointing Some dishes were excellent while some very poor non edible. Seats on sofa were uncomfortable Sodas not clean Gums stuck under the tables.

Our waiter was very good, however it’s the kitchen that took too long to cook the food. Took an hour of waiting and 3 follow-ups for our order to arrive. Only eat here when you’re not in a hurry. Probably won’t come back.

The service here was a standout, from the moment you enter the Taj hotel building where the restaurant is located within. All smiles and greetings, appropriate check ins throughout the meal. However waiting times were long, food took 35 minutes to be served and the bill took 20 minutes and 3 reminders with 3 different staff members. This was despite it being a weekday afternoon with 5 tables including ourselves, and what seemed to be a very fully staffed floor. We ordered 2 mains both of which were smothered in heavy, direct sauces that were both on the sweet side. I say direct as in it felt as if not much effort had gone into it and it was slathered all over the protein. There were 2 ballet dancers who took the floor away for around 10 to 15 minutes, which I was told was a Christmas special. Overall the service standards (ignoring the wait times) carried this whole experience.

I have dined here a few times over the last year. The food is really good and it is a nice hotel dining room. There was also some ballet with lunch, which was great. The service was fairly infrequent, but they did recognise it and did not charge for coffee without asking. I would come back as it is a nice relaxing place to dine.
