Small Thai restaurant in Mentone. We had the fish cakes, roti, green curry, pad see eew and basil chicken and everything was delicious.

Firstly, the young waitress we had was absolutely lovely and helpful. The food was also incredibly fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, the restaurant was very stuffy and warm. The tables just weren't big enough for our serving dishes, glasses, plates, etc., so our eating experience wasn't comfortable. I was also seated next to and outdoor partition which I kept hitting my arm on as it was stored against the wall near my seat . Whilst our food was delicious, the serving time was unacceptable. Firstly, my three guests received their entrées after a 20min approx. wait, however, my vegan soup came when the mains were served. Secondly, one curry to share arrived (but no rice for it came) , then one guest's personal seafood friend rice. After approx. 10 min. a second curry arrived, and still no rice came. Then the third curry arrived approx. 10 min. later, and still no rice. At this point I was getting concerned that they forgot the rice for two of the guests, so when the third curry was served by the cook/chef who served it i stated we hadn't received the rice yet, and she, looking quite annoyed, snapped at me and said, "it's coming!". Approx. 5 min. later the rice arrived and my three guests could start their mains. Approx. 10min. later, I received my vegan fried rice which I was still eating when dessert was served for one guest. In defense of the cook/chef she looked to be working all alone with the waitress. Having said that as a restaurant, I would have thought at least some extra staff on a Saturday night would have been a logical addition. Overall, the food was delicious and I would rate it 7/10 only because the serving sizes seemed quite small for the cost. In terms of comfortability I'd rate it 4/10, and 3/10 for the service received by the noticeably stressed and abrupt cook/chef. The young waitress was very nice and helpful and probably saved the cook/chef from getting negative feedback verbally on the day.

Food and service is always amazing. We never go home hungry or empty handed - taking more home for the next day. All our family love eating here. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The food was fresh and tasty. However, the portions were small and inadequate. The restaurant was understaffed and served the Take-away clients and phone orders while we waited 80 minutes between first course and second course. My guest left the restaurant after waiting 70 minutes and I had to ask them to give the restaurant another chance. The chef forgot to include the crispy tofu in one of the dishes. :( The staff, the chef’s mother and delivery driver, were inexperienced and out of place. Sorry…….it was a disappointing experience.

This was a typical Thai restaurant. The satay chicken was especially good and my husband enjoyed the green curry. Fish cakes and beef skewers were also quite good. Overall an enjoyable meal.

Grest selection of food and it was fabulous, delicious and cheap. Wine list terrible. We had 30 percent discount. Only $53 for 2 people with a beer and cask wine.

An unexpected find thank you to The Fork. A suburban Thai restaurant that ticks all the boxes for well cooked and beautifully presented Thai cuisine. Prices reflect current economic climate, but are good value for the wonderful food on offer. Highly recommended!

Very tasty main dishes, generous portions, but roti dissapointing. Offered complimentary prawn crackers which was a bonus. Servce attentive and friendly and appologies offered for the one delayed main. Second visit and we will return.

Great little local Thai restaurant. Not fancy, but excellent food and service. Our family of four had the satay skewers, green curry, red curry, Khing ginger stir fry, Pad See Ew, with coconut rice, and every dish was delicious. The curries were on the mild side, but that is our fault for not asking for extra heat. Quite close to Mentone beach so would be great for some takeout Thai at the beach. Will definitely be back!
