Sadly I was very disappointed, the deli itself was so lovely but the menu was very limited and when the food came you could tell it was all reheated which wasn’t very nice at all and we the lady was lovely that served us but we had to wait ages to find someone to ask for the bill and for the table to be cleared

Traditional dishes like lasagna and parmigiana are indeed prepared ahead to ensure deep flavour development, as is standard in Italian cuisine. Our experience was a real mixed bag. It started very well with a fantastic meats and cheese sharing platter and we were glad to see a list of reasonably priced but good wines to choose from. Unfortunately, our meals were a different case. Three of us dined and only one of us was happy with their dish - a seafood risotto (tasty with plenty of seafood). My other friend had the risotto milanese with saffron and it was cold. My dish, the chicken milanese was greasy, tough and rubbery to the point that I asked the server to remove it from the bill so I could order something else. I had the tagliatelle bolognese which was OK but nothing special. It's a real shame as the service was fantastic - both our servers were so friendly and courteous. We've heard great things which was what prompted us to visit, so I'm hoping that this was simply a bad evening

We’d been for lunch before so throughly we’d try dinner but it wasn’t quite the same in terms of food quality. The olive bread was over cooked (and had no olives in it) and the pasta dish we had for lunch previously had none of the same delicious flavour on this occasion. It was a shame as it’s a lovely local place with good wine selection. We’ll definitely try it again in the hope it was an ‘off’ night.
