Staff were very good, especially as they were short staffed that evening. Food was good pub fare - nothing too fancy but good hearty meal. High stools were a little uneasy, but regular seating was good.

This is an excellent place to meet if you are catching up with friends in central London. It is really quiet between 2.30 pm and 5pm, but the service is still great. there is good choice on the menu and a great selection of drinks. We were well looked after on this occasion by Dennis

The restaurant is very nice and traditional with the touch of Christmas atmosphere. The food was good and very good service. One of us asked for some bread, which they did non have on the menu, so kindly brought two slice of white bread and charged us £1.50 which you could buy the whole loaf with that price. I thought that charge was not necessary considering we had lots of food and beers/wine. Disappointing!
