26.06.23.On selecting a steak for our main course we were informed none were available as the restaurant had run out LAST NIGHT.We were also told there would be no steaks available for any meals that day as they could not arrange any more deliveries.To not arrange a delivery for the next day to serve customers is not a good advert for your business.Surely as a business someone could have arranged a delivery and if not something is seriously lacking.I trust these comments are helpful to you and future service is better.

We had a pleasant side-room for just our party of seven. There was very little delay in being served each course. There was a wide choice for each course and everyone enjoyed their meal. A really relaxing and satisfying experience.

I really enjoyed eating at the anchor I’ve lived in Irby since I was a kid aged 12 back in 1994 and always went to the anchor with the family when it was another type pub and still love it now and the history. Will definitely be back.

I had stopped going to the Anchor for a few years but I was pleasantly surprised at the choice of menu this time. The food was very good and the surroundings very comfortable. A great improvement to how I remembered it. I will certainly be visiting again soon.

Love the Anchor. Never had a bad meal there! Only thing was they need to stir their house soda! Thought I just had a glass of soda. This was a lovely drink though once I dipped my fork in.

Fabulous pub, great restaurant. Friendly staff. Great food. What's not to like? Highly recommended and has become our regular go to place. Spotlessly clean and the staff really look after you.

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious but the stir fry steak a little chewy. But the manager took the cost of the meal off the bill without being asked and apologised. I would definitely visit again.
