Quality pub grub. Speedy and friendly service. Steaks cooked perfectly to order. Ample on-site parking. Has the option to order through the Me&U menu app if you don't like talking to people

Food was ok. A bit too quiet (no other customers). Service ok. Not sure why The Fork wants a review…the hotel didn’t have any knowledge of my booking through them. Won’t be booking online with The Fork again. ????

What made this pub was the staff. They were very friendly and very obliging. Great pub menu and well priced. Plus the food was good (our entrée was huge). We will be back.

Elevated pub grub! Got the confit duck, halloumi burger and chicken tacos. Generously sized meals, that came out quickly, and were very fresh and moreish - I could happily keep eating chicken tacos all day but would get very full, very fast. Welcoming, chill vibes. Plenty of (paid) on-site parking. The nearby roads were undergoing some maintenance so there was a bit of noise, and construction smells in the beer garden

Had booked a table for 15 family members to celebrate a birthday , was disappointed to be allocated a table with only high backless stools for seating , which was unsatisfactory for a number of aged and very young family members . To their credit , the staff quickly organised a long normal height table for us by pushing together a number of smaller tables and organising chairs for it from the outside courtyard . Was pleased with staff responsiveness when we made requests , A number of meals ordered took an hour or more to be served , but otherwise the service was good .

We were generally satisfied with the food. It's just my pizza that was undercooked and I could taste the soft uncooked dough. The other medium rare porterhouse steak was slightly overcooked and it was more like medium. The Rump steak was not charred and more like sous vide. Nonetheless, we didnt have to wait long for our food to come out. Thank you.

A really great pub for a filling and great tasting lunch at very competitive prices. The service is quick and polite and there is a wide range of beers etc on tap. A really lovely atmosphere too. Nice to have a pub we can enjoy as a whole family.

I had the Fallafels, they were dry and brittle, not a good dish. My husband had the steak sandwich, which he enjoyed very much. One of my friends had the pie floater, said it was ok, could have used more pea and ham soup, was a bit on the dry side. The fourth person had a pizza, was very big she said it was nice.

Some of the meals were nice however the shanks were supposed to come with vegetables but only got a plate full of gluggy mash potatoes. When plates were collected staff member was asked about the missing vegies and said oh, it should have come with vegetables and then walked away!

Great pub, plenty of buzz on a Friday evening. We had the barramundi and the lamb shanks, both were perfectly cooked and delicious. We would definitely return.

Good pub grub. Steak and a steak sandwich. Short wine list but fair price. Friendly service. Nice old historic hotel on O'Connell St, North Adelaide.
