We booked a table to celebrate my grandson’s first Easter. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely display for Easter with balloons etc. This provided a lovely photo opportunity for visiting families. My online request for seating was noted and we were sat in the perfect position, however all seating is well spaced at the Barnt Green Inn. We had the most wonderful server, Agne, who my 9 month old grandson promptly fell in love with. The visiting Easter Bunny was a wonderful touch. Our three course meal was delicious from start to finish. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Barnt Green Inn for a very happy and memorable day.

Quick and efficient welcome. Lovely real wood burning fire with table well placed to take advantage. Attentive waiting staff and good food enjoyed

Went for Father’s Day and I can’t fault anything. The food and service was perfect. Pricier than most pub meals but in fairness the quality was impeccable and the food was amazing. You also got a decent amount of food

Lovely restaurant and decor. Food was delicious and was timed perfectly. Very friendly staff and good value for money. Definitely worth a visit and will be returning in the future.

The staff were lovely and polite and attentive. The food is really tasty, very good quality with several vegan options. I have been here a few times and it is always a pleasure to visit. The atmosphere is very nice too in the restaurant and they also have a garden out the front which is lovely when the sun is out as the building is very pretty.

A hugely disappointing experience! Having visited its sister restaurant in the same village 5 days earlier, where the food and service was of a high standard, the BGI presented as a poor relation in every aspect of the meal. Staff appeared harassed and subsequently unprofessional. The food was at best average, though elements of some plates were unappealing in presentation and barely edible. I would suggest that all of the above could be avoided by better staff training and on-floor supervision. I reiterate, hugely disappointing!

Four (mature) ladies, who hadn't met together because of the pandemic, enjoyed a well presented, satisfying, enjoyable meal. Each having a different main course - the seared salmon fillet was excellent; the fillet steak sandwich was tender and tasty; the Devon crab & king prawn fishcakes were first class. Our waitress gave us plenty of time to take our orders. She was courteous, efficient and friendly and made us feel as if we would repeat our visit to BGI. Thankyou

The food was good but our Waitress made an error on the order. Slightly disappointing. This was a first for us as previously everything has been good or excellent. It is a good venue and we will return.

The waitress we had was superb. We had a 1 year old with us and she was great with him. 1 of our party was dairy intolerant and she was really helpful in suggesting alternatives. Such a lovely girl who surpassed herself in customer satisfaction

Very welcoming warm reception. Beautiful layed out tables & comfy chairs. Good dinner menu plenty of choice, we were made aware of vegan, vegetarian choices & were asked if any of us had allergies.
