10/10Staff very friendly and accommodating, service excellent and quality to match, great of them to give colouring book and crayons to little ones. Prices very reasonable for both food and drinks

9.5/10Boneless wings were amazing, and I love the fact that you can order your favourite drink in a 500ml pint.

3.5/10You now have to order and pay through an app, no menu, no staff interaction but still asks for tips when checking out. Food was barely average. Cold and greasy mains. Microwaved and soggy strudel. Waitress tried to take my dessert plate when more than half the food remained - maybe they’re used to people not eating the food anymore. . Failed to bring a drink ordered at the same time as dessert until after the dessert was served and eaten. When reminded about the drink they had no record of it although it was on my automated receipt. Used to be a favourite, but has gone down hill so much I’d be cautious to try again.

6.5/10We made a booking but it didn’t seem to matter we just got sat wherever which I thought was strange. We asked to move tables when we were sat next the bar instead of in the proper restaurant area, luckily that didn’t seem to be a hassle for them. Staff are good some better than others, but online ordering system is slightly unclear with particular things. Overall I enjoyed trying something a little different and the food was great :)

5/10Had the share platter for 3 ppl. Pork belly & sausages were great, however the pork knuckle was the worst I have ever had. Soft crackle, tough meat and was somehow dry at the same time. Chicken was also dry. Disappointed as we have been to the Brisbane venue multiple times and never been disappointed.

8.5/10Nice little restaurant, comfortable ambience, and all round nice eating experience. Female waitstaff was friendly and attentive, and the meals came out promptly. My friend was a little disappointed that her parmy came without salad, but apart from that the meals were generous and enjoyable.

7/10The variety of dishes is great and the servings are generous - except for the ribs. The half for $ 30 is not good value, about 8 small ribs. We didn't like the "online" ordering / paying. 2 of our 3 phones didn't work. Overall happy, but not over the moon.

5.5/10The automated ordering system means there is no interaction with staff. Our drinks and meals came out within 2 minutes of submitting the order it was that quick we questioned if they were our meals. How do you cook that quickly? Used to be a great place to go for atmosphere and service, we are locals and not likely to be one of our go to places now

8/10Restaurant was really busy, great atmosphere. The trio of sausages was not as good a quality as in the past. Pickles were yummy as always, as was the pretzel, even though we had to ask staff 3 times if the pretzel was still coming, and it took almost 1.5 hrs before we finally got it. Staff were apologetic, but for something so simple it should have been the first to come out.

10/10Great Broadbeach restaurant set in a covid safe and inviting atmosphere. Food always top notch and the lagers are refreshing. Today we enjoyed Trio German sausages and Schnitzel with accompaniments - beautiful.

8/10I ordered the jaqerschnitzel which was as advertised. The boys thought their burgers were a bit dry. The ‘house made Gelato’ is just home brand ice cream which was confirmed by the waitress when paying the bill. It would’ve been nice to have been told this up front when ordering because I wouldn’t have proceeded to order it had I known.

5.5/10Floor was incredibly slippery. Chicken wings were poorly flavoured and the blue cheese sauce was overpowering. Schnitzel was good.

2 Oracle Boulevard, 4218, Broadbeach (QLD), Australia
Broadbeaches hottest restaurant.
There's no doubt that the Oracle complex at Broadbeach is the place to be seen on the Gold Coast. And if you're there looking for a bite to eat Bavarian Bier Café certainly delivers the goods. Perfectly positioned alongside premium fashion retailers, this restaurant is designed to be a ‘destination' venue, boasting a chic interior, stunning mezzanine and a large outdoor dining area with the capacity to hold up to 350 guests. The menu features both hearty and healthy options, delivering traditional Bavarian favourites as well as a few Modern-Australian classics. Their bier list is just as impressive, featuring a lengthy list of imported brews all chosen to reflect different styles, moods and cuisines. This restaurant is an ideal destination for after work drinks, family outings or functions of all shapes and sizes.
Best dish: German Sausage tasting platter.
