The staff here are very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious with generous portions that required a dog bag to take home. We arrived early and took advantage of the drinks specials at happy hour. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff. Nice food, big servings, a real manly feast! Good selection of drinks. I probably would prefer to order at the bar to experience more of the atmosphere but table service is a nice treat. Overall very pleasant experience and my husband absolutely loved it.

Have eaten in other Bavarians and they were excellent. Sunshine Plaza 1. Music far too loud, penty of people complained. 2. wait time for food was 40 min yet the place was not full. 3. one food order was incorrect, proof was in the receipt! Wait -staff were good and Greeter was excellent. It was the Kitchen that let this place down.

Nice location and menu sounded interesting. Disappointed that the “boneless wings” were breaded chicken pieces not wings. The Burger Project burger has appeared on the menu, for $23.00. The burger took 40 minutes to appear, and staff didn’t seem to care. “I’ll tell the manager” but no other recognition of the delay. To top off, the bill included a $4.85 “venue surcharge” (? For a customer spending money on a Sunday, not a public holiday), and a credit card fee both not advised of before payment finalised. Overpriced for average food. Don’t support them.

Looked forward to first visit to Bavarian. Food was great, service and table was great but the biggest downfall was the crap music. It was same as Hogs Breath. Really bad and disappointing. What is wrong with German music? If not turn it down. Not coming back. Rather fly to Munich next time.

Great food but there was a large group that were incredibly loud, and to make it worse the shots kept getting taken to the tables with a cowbell being sounded the whole time. It was absolutely impossible to hold a conversation even across our table.

We went for early dinner at 6pm. Most of the food items we came for was not available so it was really disappointing. The serving was big, crispy pork was a bit fatty but nice. The pork knuckle which we came for was not available :(

Great food and atmosphere. Loved the delicious tasting platter where you get to try a bit of everything including sausages, schnitzel, sauerkraut and pork belly. Will definately be back.

A great atmosphere for catching up with dear friends. The $15 snitty deal on a Tuesday night is well worth the visit. Washed down with a 1 litre glass of apple cider and things are sorted for a great night.

Disappointing but that seems to be the standard at Rockpool group mass market operations. Didn’t have the pork schnitzel available, and then hit with a 10% Sunday surcharge (not on a public holiday). Do the staff get award plus 10%, I wonder? Adds to the feeling of “nickel and diming” previously encountered.

Although the order was correct and the food nice, we, unfortunately, had to wait for 40 minutes for it to appear. The manager kindly took a further 10% of the bill to compensate.

Great evening here, meals were of a generous sizing, delicious flavours for all meals but the Pork Belly dish in particular was a great combination of flavours & textures, happy hours drinks are excellent value, staff friendly & welcoming.... particularly Andrew who excelled at customer service
