The views from the boatshed on a clear night are excellent. Service was attentive and friendly by all staff encountered and all the food and drinks were served at a timely manner. This is not, however an inexpensive restaurant and although everything was well presented and tasty there were a lot of dishes that were deep fried to the point that they were overly crispy and not tender. Good for special occasions.

We had high hopes for the boat shed, given the fantastic view. I really wanted to like it and perhaps the kitchen was having an off night. Unfortunately the value for money was simply not there based on the quality of the food. I had the pork belly and the skin was burnt and the meat dry and stringy. For a $44 main I would expect more. It also lacked ambience and felt cold and sterile.

Absolutely beautiful meal with my man and my daughter Lily Angel. We dine out A LOT!! These were the most beautiful oysters (baked vodka bacon cream) in close comparison with Mr Walkers amazing oysters! Your scallops were also delicious. We loved the squid and my lover adored his pork belly. Thankyou just gorgeous ❤️

Great costumer services! Family friendly - which wasn’t expected for a fine dinning restaurant. Many thanks to the team on the floor on Friday night (1st Sep’23), including young waiters and senior manager! Highly recommend for family with kids and elders to enjoy the great food and beautiful river view. :)

Too difficult to book. Much nicer if done with a phone call - it is hospitality, after all. Why not connect with people? And reconfirming the booking is a pain. Should be one phone call and end of story.

A nice romantic night out with my girlfriend as we were seated at the front of the restaurant looking out over the swan river towards the city lights. Service was very attentive and the food matched. Flavours were amazing and one of the best steaks had in Perth.

The table service was attentive, polite and welcoming. I do like table cloths on the table when fine dining but this restaurant didn't have those. The area we were sitting was in between 2 big long tables of diners and it became quite loud. Food was served quickly and the chickpea curry was sensational, full of flavour and a big serve. Chips were a little disappointing in taste and quantity for the $12 paid. Dessert was presented nicely. I felt cold in the restaurant...maybe turn up the heater a little. Carpark had no lighting.

We had a wonderful lunch at the Boat Shed restaurant. The food was delicious with lots to choose from. The staff were fantastic so helpful suggesting different wines to compliment are courses. Reasonable priced with an excellent view of the city and the beautiful swan river.

Really nice food and drinks with stunning views. I’m not sure about the baby squid in the seafood linguini and I only got 2 prawns on my plate but the flavour was great and the pasta cooked to perfection. Loved the oysters with yuzu a new experience for me. My partner loved the arancini and fish

One of our favourite restaurants on the waterfront, just a short walk from Mends St. Jetty, where the ferries cross from Elizabeth Quay. Relaxing ambience, very professional service and fabulous food, what more could you ask for? 5 stars *****

Love this restaurant for the food, location and fantastic service. The occasion was my mothers 92nd Birthday lunch..she shared it with myself, my daughter and granddaughter…4 generations so, how is that for special. The family matriarch loved her day of celebration, and, I knew it would be perfect as, I have been to the Boatshed on many occasions with my partner in life Grant. The Pork belly was amazing as always. Marilyn Helliwell????

Exceptional location with city views and lovely ambience for a special celebration. Service was very good but food was not very hot when it came out.

Great view, city view, dolphins, sunset… A bit boring wine list, French champagne was a good choice. Little feeling like Something was missing to complete the sophistication, but I would give steady 4,5 out 5; The Steak was a bit overdone, but still a very good quality; Expensive entrees - tasty to though. Good sticky date pudding - the caramel sauce was outstanding!!!

Very expensive for what you get. Extremely small serves. No music, must say we were a little disappointed. Their prices are more expensive than the menus listed online.
