I don’t like service charge being added as that is a discretionary gift on receiving good service. Customers should be warned before entering the restaurant that it is credit card only. Some people don’t use credit cards! Discrimination!

On arrival friendly welcome . We had to move from our original allocated table as we were seated next to a pillar with no room to move . Service , food and wine especially mains ( grilled sea bream for 2) . very good . Wine - Mount Brown ( excellent ). Pudding options too predictable . Generally though a good lunch with friendly and efficient service , but aspects of the menu need refreshing .

Hi great meal as always. A bit pricey, £5.00 for two bread rolls. As expected it can get quite busy, so it’s a bit noisy. But that cannot be helped. However besides that, great service makes going to the theatre an even nicer experience. The food is varied and always hot and delicious. Thank you.

Our meal was excellent. The food was outstanding: tasty, well presented and plentiful. The staff were polite and welcoming, and the service was very quick. Thank you - it was worth coming for the meal, even if you don’t go to the theatre.

Brought bill from another table, very slow service, far too noisy, like to sit on the left as you go in but not in use so too noisy for my companion to hear. Last time beef too tough to eat, replacement of duck too dried up, kept hot far too long. Rolls far too expensive will avoid next time. Disappointing.

It is so wonderful to have such a well organised, pleasant and delicious place to eat so conveniently located for the show. The food is top notch and the service is some of the best I've seen. They've been very well taught. For a restaurant that is turning over a lot of people in a reasonably short window they never make it feel rushed. We love going there.

Busy restaurant with very pleasant and well paced service. Food was good with very reasonable portion size and presentation. Service charge of 10% went to all staff both in kitchen and restaurant.

Enjoyed the food and the service. But the tables round the windows are too close together. If there are noisy people so close it does detract somewhat.

The starter cheese soufflé was delicious. We then all had the duck leg which was v dry and the beans with it not right and no sauce! V disappointing. The sticky toffee pud was lovely.

It's our go to Restaurant when going to the Theatre. Mainly due to the always fast service and good food, eating in Town then legging it to the Theatre has been tricky at times. I have only given it 4 * for food, we go quite often the Menu seems not to change that often. Also it only does X1 type of Alcohol free beer. There are loads on the market now including Spirits. These are flying of the shelfs in Supermarkets come in add them to the list.

We enjoyed our meal but it was very over priced. We have been eating here 2/3 times a year for several years. Have always enjoyed it but on the last occasion and today our bill was expensive. We won’t be eating here again!

Good service. Welcoming staff. Menu for pre show was quite limited but understandable.

Really lovely Christmas lunch with a good friend. Wonderful food and excellent service in a spacious, bright room. Only negative: wide windows needed a good cleaning.

I’m afraid that the quality and price ratio has increased to the point that convenience of eating at the theatre is getting less appealing

We were very pleased with the quality of the food and will certainly book again.

My starter was very good. I chose roast turkey for main. The roast potatoes were over cooked and a bit difficult to cut. The sprouts were under cooked. The option to have cranberry sauce would have gone down nicely. Inspite of that, I cleared my plate!

A really lovely meal although the wine wasn't so great or good value. I wish that I had known about yum points though, I am assuming that these can't be given to me after a booking?
