A really lovely meal although the wine wasn't so great or good value. I wish that I had known about yum points though, I am assuming that these can't be given to me after a booking?

I think seasonal table decorations and use of candles would improve ambience. It is often quite chilly at the back of the restaurant. It would be nice to serve bread basket w starters. Soup without bread roll - slice of sourdough etc. The portions are not overly generous for starters. Pricing by the way is fair. Not cheap. My survey previous may have given wrong impression.

Beautiful food and service. All quickly served too. It is a large restaurant so it does inevitably get a bit noisy.

Excellent menus and dishes — comparatively few choices, though (which often denotes a high-quality restaurant…). Service is very speedy, probably because this is part of a theatre complex and provides pre-show meals where most diners need to finish in good time to take their seats..

The food was overpriced and the service was slow. We weren’t impressed.

Super fast service by friendly staff. Delicious food and the pudding was the best we have ever had. Treacle Tart and Cinnamon icecream simply fabulous. Restauarant looked pretty with all the twinkly lights too. Recommend.

Very convenient for eating before the theatre. Very good main courses from a limited selection. Disappointing desserts.

Came here before seeing The Life of Pi, as always swift service. Excellent choice of good quality food. Yummy puddings. Waiters and waitress staff only to keen to please, polite and friendly. As this was a birthday/ retirement treat all the more special. Thank you.

Perfect for pretheatre food . A well managed restaurant with good food and waiting staff. Only suggestion, from a lover of deserts: they are all so sweet that’s it’s overkill . Sticky toffee pudding with sweet ice cream and sugar sauce . Sticky toffee pudding would be better with custard . Even the treacle tart had ice cream and brandy snap … sugar, sugar, sugar. I suppose the plus is , not having a desert leaves space for an ice cream (sweet enough on its own) in the theatre break .

The Minerva Brasserie exceeded our expectations: setting, courteousness & friendliness of staff AND menu & food itself. All of this contained in the theatre we were attending for a performance. We will definitely use the Brasserie more now we have discovered and experienced it. Thanks

An excellent restaurant if you are going to a performance at either of the theatres. The food was presented well and the service spot on. Probably a little expensive but you pay for the convenience of eating on site. I would recommend the restaurant and will return.

Often use this lovely Brasserie before CF Theatre productions. Attractive meals efficiently served. Staff are well trained and have a personal touch which makes all the difference.

The quality and choice of food was all very good. Service was excellent ,all done with a smile and a good word. The potion size was just OK but the meal was let down by bread rolls that were not as fresh as they should have been.Overall, however ,we were very pleased .
