Nice dog friendly seating outdoors by the water feature. Service was friendly and welcoming. Food was average but not bad. Not too busy for Sunday lunch.

Went for Breakyfast. The food was great, beautiful lush courtyard at the back with some great tunes. Friendly staff. The fish pound kept our little one busy whilst we were e hoping it all. Good times.

Firstly, disappointing to see the Brisbane doesn't do table service anymore. I have used the Brisbane for around 5 years on occasions when taking clients to nearby NIB Stadium for Perth Glory matches. However, we probably wont use the Brisbane in future with this being one of the reasons as it just doesn't suit a business atmosphere. Also when ordering food, I had a list on my phone which I passed to the barman. As I was also getting drinks I noticed a drink was missing which I highlighted and then purchased, but my food wasn't read back to me and I didn't get a receipt to confirm what had been ordered. When food arrived we were a steak short and we were told it would be around 30 - 45 mins to get the missing one and instead we were offered a pizza which would take 25 mins. I should point out we weren't charged for the "missing steak". As the missing steak was for a diabetic/ celiac who really needed to eat (Not known to staff of course), we accepted the pizza instead. However a couple of minutes later the staff returned and offered to supply a portion of chips instead. These arrived about 10 minutes later and to be honest, we felt the staff just wanted to offer the cheapest possible option as they were giving it "one the house". This is despite me offering to just pay for the steak or pizza or whatever if we could just get it quickly as the diabetic in our party was really needing food. So the whole episode was pretty disappointing and in hindsight. the bar staff should reconfirm the food orders at least as happens in other establishments. Bar is lovely, atmosphere is usually good but this has soured things a little!

We dined at the hotel before Pierre Ulric’s Confessions of a Magician show (upstairs at Lazy Susan’s comedy den). We were greeted by friendly staff & when we requested a warmer inside table, it was no problem. Arancini & chilli wedges entree came out quick, followed by Salmon steaks (yum) & slaw and Fish n Chips (very generous). Great atmosphere, good service & reasonable prices. We’ll be back!

The food was delicious! Highly rate the steak and the southern slaw. Pizzas are also really good. The dj was fantastic!! Wish I could get the playlist :) Atmosphere is chill. Great spot to catch up with friends or bring the family for a night. Highly recommended.

The staff are amazing the food was pretty average and we had to wait 45 minutes which we were not impressed as we were running late for our concert also originally they gave our table to someone else so they had to sort that out as well luckily I had my confirmation in print

The fillet steak was deliciously tender with tasty greens. The staff were friendly and efficient on what was an extremely busy day due to most patrons continuing to Elton John concert. A great start to the night.

The brisbane is a great place for drinks and food especially when going to HBF stadium. The staff are great. We had a round if drinks knocked off our bill as the dessert we ordered wasn't available and we had waited a while before we were informed. We never expected that but it was a lovely gesture so thankyou the Brisbane staff.

Not a bad pub usually, as we are regulars but last night we had a shocking experience. We were taken to our table which was booked over a week ago and it was amongst a group of people standing having drinks. Nothing like sitting at your table with people backsides in your face. More and more people in that group came and they were that close they were spilling drops of their drinks down the back of my shirt and banging into the back of the chair. We sat there for 20 mins and did not getting asked our order, could not get the attention of any waiters. They looked short staffed. In the end we got up and left, unfortunately won’t be returning for a while.

Had a delicious Sunday brunch here. Great food, great atmosphere in the garden, great staff. As we walked through the hotel to the garden I really noticed how clean and organised it was for 10 on a Sunday morning. Food...Yum yum yum.

We initially received the truffle arancini instead of the pumpkin version. Quickly rectified by apologetic staff but actually really glad. They were AMAZING! The pumpkin arancini eventually came out and were also delicious but hmmmm...the black truffle ones are to die for. Nice wine list and great vibe in the beer garden.
