Lovely cozy restaurant! We had the roast dinner and I couldn't fault it. Very nice and welcoming staff. Would recommend and definitely be going again.

Visited on 7th December. Table booked for 18.30 for the festive menu. When we arrived we were told depending on when we ordered there may be a delay as there was a big Christmas party in. We did ask why they hadn't got additional staff in but just a disappointing shrug. Had to request the festive menu and when it arrived it was different to what is advertised via the fork app. Did question why therw was a difference but again the waitress (very friendly girl) was unable to answer but did say that I wasn't the 1st person to point it out? Long wait then before order was taken and even longer for the starter to arrive. When it did i was very disappointed, king prawn and crab cocktail, lots of lettuce lining the bowl and 5 prawns and a small slice of sour dough bread. Very tiny portion. My friend had scallops, she had more scallops than I had prawns! Then the next long wait for mains..... I ordered the pork and she had the tart. Pork was quite tough but it was nice and nicely presented. They asked then about puddings, it was so late now we were going to decline but they said that it would be ok now as they big party had been served, sure enough the pudding came within minutes! Unfortunately it was gone 21.30 at this point. Over 3 hours for a 3 course meal is really not acceptable. Overall food was ok but the wait was simply not worth it.

Have to say very disappointing, Meal was average at best, No rib eye steak, Asked for whatever steak I had to be medium rare, and it come well done, no condiments were offered with the meal, Partners roast was not hot, very disappointed,as the first meal I had here was lovely, Also asked for a gin ant tonic and could not taste the gin, also had to change glass as it was filthy,

Food was beautiful as always, roasts are the best here by far! Crackling is on point! Would recommend to anyone in the area. Service was brilliant today too, lots of friendly faces, even though they work so hard and quickly too!

We had not been to The Bugle Horn for several years but last nights visit was excellent, the food was great and service was great from our waitress. On last nights visit (02/08/21) we will definitely visit again in the near future and recommend it to friend who wish to eat good food.

Long wait shot staffed cold dark couple of bulbs missing Food pretty unappetising no garnish Hot beef sandwich dry tasteless Chicken sandwich fat to heavy on whole grain mustard . Had to go and find staff to get drinks then again to get bill no service for dessert or coffees The staff 3 of them stood behind empty bar having a drink ????

We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious well cooked and well presented Sunday roast. Lovely young waitress called Phoebe looked after us very well. All in all a most enjoyable experience. Thank you Bugle Horn.
