What a really pleasant experience. The food on offer, and then delivered, was excellent and the staff were very attentive especially the manager/maitre de. We will be booking again. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary super special.

We were seated at a lovely table for the 6 of us with loads of room and didn’t feel cramped at all which is refreshing these days. The food was lovely and the service was impeccable. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and Oliver was brilliant and made our dining experience so much more enjoyable.

Great place to go for a special occasion hense we visit or stay 5/6 times a year. The food is amazing followed up with consistently great service by all staff. Always recommend this place and we will continue to come on a regular basis.

Thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience, only bug bare for me was at the dinner cream tea they didn’t explain what to do just brought the cream and jam and coffee didn’t explain the scone will be coming shortly just walked off so was walking around looking where to find them, a bit more communication needed from the waitress had to ask a few was it coming waited ages , total opposite for breakfast waitress was fabulous and explained what to do and the diff areas for food.

A totally different experience to our meal the previous evening. Poor seating with a view of the door and computer- that is a table that should never be used! Seated but not offered a wine list, had to go and request one after we had been seated for 10 minutes and still not offered one. Gristly and tough steak (not good enough for £60+). Sides dishes not served but left on the bill. One small salad for two people, the same as that served per person with meals half the cost. Your Sommelier was excellent. The rest was very ordinary and the shame is we know the food and service and seating can be much better. It was on the Friday evening.

Lovely food and welcoming polite staff. They were clearly very busy so we do understand . But it did take 2.5 hours to get 3 courses, and we have to ask 3 times to order more drinks and ask twice to see the dessert menus. But they were very polite and did apologise about the delay :)

The food was very good however the service was dreadful. On asking to sit on a proper table we were seated behind a pillar out of view of staff and restaurant. We then had to wait 40 minutes for our main course after the starter presumably as we could not be seen , did have to attract attention in the end to get food.

Slow service throughout. Ordered water for a diner but none came for 30 minutes until we reminded. Thick cut chips appeared to be deep fried frozen chips rather home made. 25 minutes between finishing starter to mains arriving. Teas and coffees took 20 minutes with another reminder. Appeared to be plenty of staff so possibly the kitchen were very busy. Will revert to a restaurant in Leeds next time.

My wife ordered the fake shrimp pasta dish. Despite being told that the meal was vegan and that there was no shrimp we still expected it to have pasta in it. The description needs changing in the menu as it is very misleading. Unfortunately this soured the experience slightly as we then had to purchase another meal from yourselves. My steak however was fantastic.

We had been looking forward to the restaurant but waited almost an hour between ordering and receiving our food. No staff came to check on us or apologise and I had to flag down staff to try and get the bill. Very disappointing anniversary meal indeed

We ordered sea bass and risotto and had to send it back. We were so disappointed having eaten sea bass and risotto here before when it was beautiful. Fish skin was not crispy or even bordering on crispy and the risotto was just mush. We are so sorry to give this rating as we do not like to send food back or give poor ratings but you have asked so we can only be honest.

Here the food has always been great however on this occasion this was the worst. We sat at our table with no one approaching us for drink until I stopped a waiter to ask for it. The starters took 35mins to come out and we were so hungry as was getting late into the evening. When I asked why this was taking so long she said it’s because they have a lotof food orders. Well I didn’t expect any short of food orders, it’s a restaurant? When the food came the quality and taste was very nice. The breakfast buffet and the breakfast service I saw the completer opposite service wise. All the waiting staff were running back and forth.

Went to The Calverley Grill for Husbands Birthday. We both ordered Steak, had to ask for mine to be ‘Well Done’ as I am pregnant. Asked for it with Skinny Fries and for the Rocket to be removed from the Side Salad. First waitress who took our order was lovely, and took on the various requests. Both steaks arrived, Husbands was cooked as ordered and looked very tasty. Mine was less than medium, which was quickly taken back to be sorted. However, by the time it came back, my Husband had finished his meal, another couple also had the time to order and for their meals to arrive and nearly finish them prior to my well done steak arriving. When it arrived, the side dishes had been replaced for fresh, but were the wrong dishes originally ordered. So very disappointed with my food. Besides the food, the Waiter was brilliant and quickly dealt with it and apologised which was really appreciated and amended our bill. However, the waitress at the end of the meal wouldn’t let us get a word in edgeways when trying to check the bill, which was happening to other customers around us.

The resturant staff would not allow us to have our booked table because apparently we had arrived 15 mins too early. We were asked to come back at allocated time?? We went to the bar area and was asked to sit at a bar table to be served, we received no bar service. We decided to return to the restaurant and was finally allocated our table. The general service during the evening was slow and mediocre. We had to chase up members of staff to order our meal and drinks. Thankfully when our food finally arrived the food was very good, our fillet steaks were excellent. We were really looking forward to the evening in such a potentially class venue. We have decided we will give the venue another chance as we feel on reflection this was probably a bad day at the office.

At dinner there was only sirloin steak all other steaks were unavialable, but sirlon waas not on the menu we were given , the food we had was of good quality and the service was excellent. We arrived for breakfast at 9.20 there were no muffins left, the hot service buffet had run out of everything, so we had to wait approximately 15 minutes whilst each item was brought out in in dribs and drabs.
