Leuk restaurant met sfeervolle inrichting. Ook mooi terras. Bediening oké , alleen iets te opdringerig met drankjes. Nette prijs en leuke gerechten.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, we were sat in the bar area as we had our dog with us. Fair priced for the area and excellent quality too - the beef was beautifully cooked. Thank you!

Ive eaten here a few times and really enjoyed , tonight was different . It was very quiet 4 tables in at most and it took just short of a hour for food to arrive . Some food was cold, daughters chicken over done but.

We live about 25 miles from the Castle but as we were taken there by friends during the summer and we had some excellent food we decided to make the journey to try it again. The place itself provides a lovely ambient experience and the staff are attentive and professional. Out of the three of us I was the only one to have a starter, salt and pepper squid, which was very nice and promised a good lunch. Unfortunately the crab and prawn fishcake was a diappointment, hardly any crab and little taste .

This is a top class restaurant, the staff are friendly and extremely helpful and the food is just amazing. I highly recommend this venue for any occasion it is definitely one of my favourite places.

Warm welcome, attentive service and good food. What more could you ask for a lunchtime get together. The menu is varied with good choices from normal menu and Christmas Fayre.

Disappointed with the food and thought it was overpriced for what you got. I had the crab cakes & found them to be watery & mushy; my husband went for the belly pork which he thought was very fatty not much meat, & a small portion for the price. Not sure if we will dine here again I'm afraid.

Waited a long time for order to be taken. No olives again!!! food took ages to arrive, not as good as it used to be. Service very poor. Music very annoying, it's a restaurant not a nightclub. Not booking again as disappointed.

Good night, the food was good and the service was great. Don’t listen to the bad reviews! Local customers and frequent visitors! Mac and cheese is a staple favourite for the boy and we love the rack of lamb pork belly and they cook a great steak for a local pub restaurant too! Thanks

The food was lovely apart from some of the vegetables which were well over cooked. We love the food at the castle but the service is always very slow we were booked in at 1pm but some of our party were late due to the distance they had travelled and traffic problems so were 39 mins late but the castle was very understanding - we however did not finish our meal till just after 4pm. We will continue to eat at the castle as we know that is slow service so are prepared

My companion found the mushroom starter portion rather underwhelming but the main course of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful, and service was very good.

Lovely restaurant, friendly polite waiting staff. Ordered sea bass but unfortunately it smelled so strongly of fish that it put me right off. The staff were fab and swapped the meal for another one which was absolutely delicious (sirloin steak salad).
