Wonderful atmosphere, intimate yet relaxed, with a balanced and colourful menu. I had both lunch and dinner here on different days and attention to detail was foremost. Service was excellent too.

The burger buns were over toasted (or stale) and service was slow. The waitress who greeted us on arrival was not at all friendly and we were disappointed by the lack of service to our table. We were only offered drinks once the entire time we were there.

I found this restaurant quite interesting & a relaxing place for dinner. Service was of high standards & very welcoming. Great serves of meals & I also liked the way the staff helped celebrate our special anniversary dinner! Thanks we had such a wonderful experience at your restaurant!

Good food. Never really content when you order a main (not inexpensive) and then have to order side dishes with it (about $14 for a side of fries). Not a fan of paying for spirits (not inexpensive) and then getting charged for a "mixer" (around $2.50)

A beautiful, classy restaurant with good food and great cocktails, and cakes. Service was brilliant! Food used to be tastier, menu was better. Still good though.

Christmas dinner with a friend. My fourth time eating at the Den - her first time - and was she impressed! Staff and service excellent - the food was just perfect (barramundi and the heritage tomato salad were our choices) Deserts to die for (panna cotta and tiramisu). Have highly recommended this restaurant in the past and do so again!

We started with "Mayflower" cocktails that were a hit with everyone. Food was fantastic and service was great too. Will definitely return. Thoroughly recommend.

Food here is always of the best quality, super fresh and expertly prepared. My favourite all time go to is the Rare yellow fin tuna nicoise salad- an absolute delight!

Our meals were very expensive which would’ve been fine had they been the quality you’d expect at that price. It was a special occasion for our family and my son’s meal was brought out before everyone else’s, my mum’s meal was completely wrong, and we were served calamari instead of the onion rings we ordered- we’re vegetarian

Good meal our waiter stuart was very friendly and prompt. Price was at the higher end but I went away satisfied. The only thing that was a bit disappointing were the oysters $30+ for half dozen and they were very small and lacked enough kilpatrick topping.

The restaurant is nice but quite dark interior, maybe a bit outdated. Service and food was implacable. We had a lamb with fettuccine and the barramundi with steamed greens.

Second time eating here and absolutely adore the quality of their food! Nicer to have a plate of food that isn't pulled high in the plate but perfectly filling of high quality and perfectly balanced taste. Looking forward to my next visit!

It is always a pleasant experience going to "the Den" for coffee or lunch. Staff are very professional and friendly and quality of food is excellent.

Somelier had great knowledge of wine and was helpful when choosing a bottle. The steak was very fatty. The steamed greens were underdone. (I struggled to get my fork into the Brussel sprouts!) The onion rings were amazing. Dessert was good. Service was average even though we dined at 6pm and it wasn’t busy. Went to the bathroom, there was no soap and no paper towel to dry hands. I expected more from a high end restaurant, and especially when paying over $220 for 2 people!! We will not be going again.

Loved the restaurant and always come back however really disappointed in not having my meal alterations listened to. Asked for my meal to not include an ingredient and yet still found it throughout the dish and couldn't finish it
