Booked with the expectation of a high Tea buffet, the entire reason I made the booking to begin with. Arrived to just a standard high tea, was informed they'd stopped doing the buffet about four weeks ago but no one had bothered to inform me. Service was bizarre, one of the servers was jovial and friendly, but the others were unfriendly and also extremely quiet, despite the overall noise in the dining area. Food was all right, but kind of variable between each individual serves, for example one of the scones was much nicer than the other two scones of the same sort. They didn't have the full range of tea available, but we didn't even find that out until after we'd already put our orders and then had to modify them. The general vibe and atmosphere was underwhelming.

We returned to the Gallery for the high tea again on 12/11/22 ( Sat) as we were impressed with last month’s visit. We were thrilled to see that the this time it was even better than last time. It had a bigger spread. The desserts this time featuring chocolate theme of fine quality. The cheese and cold cut section were also of high quality. In particular I liked the healthy and flavourful dips with the crackers. And the prosciutto this time were also of higher quality compared to last months . We saw the familiar faces from the same delightful team of waitresses and their female manager as last months. The service was impeccable. We enjoyed the quite and refined setting ( 230pm seating) and we will surely be returning.

Food variety was disappointing fur a buffet. Missing tongs for food which wasn’t very hygienic. The scones were hard as a rock. Overall presentation wasn’t very inviting. Staff weren’t very friendly. If I paid full price for this high tea I wouldn’t be happy. Even half price I wasn’t impressed. Will not be back.

Plenty of food as it was a high tea buffet. Would be nicer if there were high tea stands to create more of a high tea atmosphere. Overall, nice restaurant and staff were really kind and attentive.

A nice spread for high tea. Enjoyed the wide selection of tea, and all the food on the spread from the canapes to the desserts. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating throughout our whole stay.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the high tea and the lovely service at the Gallery today after seeing bad reviews. All the waitresses and manager on duty on 15/10/22 were very courteous and accommodating. The setting was relaxing. The spread of buffet was small but nice. We”ll be back .

The food is quite nice and comparable to other high tea’s in Sydney, but the service was disappointing, very hard to get staff’s attention. There isn’t much ambience.

The staff are superb. The high tea food is phenomenal. The coffee brilliant. My friends enjoyed the free flowing champagne. Highly recommend.

The ambience of Sheraton was great, and calming while the service was excellent and efficient however, there was limited choices for food on the day - particularly hot food, and a lot of the options were incredibly dry and bland.
