My husband has visited your restaurant many times and as he had a free day thought we would have an enjoyable lunch at your restaurant .
Firstly I must say the waiting staff are most professional and very good at their job.
I was pleased to see a lot of Japanese food on the menu, we enjoy fine Japanese cuisine often.
My daughter and I choose the bento box with sashimi to share
The sashimi was exceptional.
As for the bento box, I find it wrong for you to list it as bento box .... I have eaten Japanese food in many different countries and have never been served a bento box like you did . The choice of different foods were not complimentary and even the food was not cooked well. The turbotine with vegetables, the mange tout was ,absolutely cooked to an inch of its life...all soft and floppy. Inedible . The staff were kind enough to change the steak tartare .
If you list it as a bento box, it should a traditional bento box....not served as 6 small dishes as an alternative bento box.
I enjoy fusion food, but this was just a shambles.
On a good note the black cod my husband had was delicious .
My daughter was too embarrassed to comment on hers and just picked at it.
Your team were gracious enough to not charge us for one of the so called bento box .
Just to top the whole bad experience off, I used the toilet before I left ....NO toilet paper..
This is just totally unacceptable in a reputable , high end restaurant like yours. Someone obviously hasn't been checking the toilets .
I understand that restaurants can have hiccups along the way, staff can get lazy and feel that sometimes crictism is sometimes necessary to keep the high level up . Serving soggy mange touts , I shudder .

Just came back from a graduation dinner at the Harbour Club. When reserving our table we had mentioned that one of our guests has a gluten allergy. We also mentioned this fact on arrival and once again at the table to our waiter for the evening.
The entire restaurant was full because it was the 'horeca borrel' with such loud music that - even though we were in the back of the restaurant - far away from the crowd at the bar that we had to literally push through to get to our table - we had to ask our waiter to do something about the level of music since we could hardly hear ourselves speak.
I absolutely love the decor in this restaurant but one of the light features consisting of many hanging light bulbs was desperately in need of a check since we counted 4 bulbs that were broken.

We heard from our waiter that he could bring us bread but that there was nothing for our guest with the gluten allergy since the gluten free bread wouldn't be delivered till the next day. Personally I don't see the problem since gluten free bread can be bought at almost every Albert Heijn and it surely couldn't be a problem to make sure that our guest could at least have something to start her meal with.

She finally was able to have sashimi as a starter and steak tartare as a main course. She had absolutely nothing to accompany these dishes since there was nothing for her. We asked about some french fries that had been served at our table but were told by the waiter that these were not gluten free but that he would look for something. He never came back except to clear the table.

Our waiter did his best under the circumstances but after having to wait more than 1 hour for our main course and our guest not being able to eat more than mentioned, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
