It may have been renamed and rebranded, but this is still a proper neighbourhood pub, with local drinkers in with their dogs, families out for dinner ...

10/10We had pork & duck terrine, raviolo, grilled patty squash for starters and share 1 kg rib of beef with fries. I would recommend this restaurant as their food are delicious and service is great.

6/10we booked the Holland after seeing the 'Michelin'?? set menu with a main of Plaice in a brown butter sauce, so when we arrived and that was not on the menu but hake , we were disappointed, and possibly the noisiest restaurant/gastropub we have ever eaten in , service was friendly but slow . A 'Made in Chelsea' vibe for those who like that , but with everyone trying to overtalk everyone else on two big tables , almost impossible to hear each other talk . As it has a 9.3 rating on the Fork we expected more....

10/10The staff were welcoming and friendly. The menu is small, but very well made. I've never tasted lamb so tender, and the hake had such a delicious sauce. I wasn't expecting much of my starter of pork and duck terrine but that must have been the best I've ever had. We were so pleased with our dinner. Thank you to the chef and staff.

8/10Great Sunday roast here. Order the 1KG of beef if you can manage it between you- fabulously tender and great gravy. We used £50 off and didn’t have to ask for it. I’d visit again for sure! Only critique is I’d have liked more vegetables than some small carrots and cabbage. How about broccoli, sprouts, parsnips or cauliflower cheese? Great service here too, and good wines.

10/10Excellent food, nice atmosphere. The lunch menu is great value for money, would be nice to have more than one option per course on lunch menu for pickier eaters but was perfect for us. The plaice with brown butter very tasty, good starters and bread. Can highly recommend

10/10A light and airy venue with a low key chilled vibe, but with great service, good food and drinks choice and a great value set menu, which we had and which was cooked perfectly. Great for a relaxed lunch, especially on a gloriously sunny day!

10/10This is our second visit and we enjoyed it as much as the first. The food and wine were delicious and not expensive, except the dessert was good, but a tiny portion, so not good value. The service was fast and efficient., but perhaps not quite as warm as last time. As it was noisy, I think music could have been turned off and I was really irritated by the SMS messages being sent to remind me of the reservation and then a reminder we were due in 30 minutes. Why don’t you send an email to confirm the day before as they do at Open Table.

10/10Lovely ambience and very friendly service . Booking via the Fork we could avail ourselves to the early bird menu which is excellent value at £45 for an aperitif and three courses . The burrata starter was absolutely delicious as was the whole Dover sole . My friend ordered the pork which he enjoyed The apple crumble was superb ! Definitely recommend and would return !

4/10The Food was terrible. We had much higher expectations as the Holland was mentioned in Michelin. But don’t go there for the Food.

7/10Was on the fork ‘Michelin special’ - advertised as £40 a head. I didn’t bring my glasses and it was only after I had paid and left the restaurant my daughter told me we were charged £45 a head. As the combination price of the 3 courses came to under £40 ( but we did have a single gin and tonic also - it was not much of a deal) The food was good and service very good. I had a glass of wine which was also very good but at £12 for 175mls I’d expect it to be. It was a large enough restaurant but tables were close together and the table next to us was very loud as the two sitting at it had at least 2 bottles of wine and possibly other drinks before we arrived. It was also a little on the chilli side in the restaurant. On balance an enjoyable evening, nice food but probably not so great a place with all London has to offer that I would go running back.
