Slow slow very slow.
And the waiters didn't even check the table, like do you want something else to drink or how was your meal.

This restaurant made a fun night out a bad night out.

Good Indian place in Amstelveen. Food was excellent, and would have deserved a larger wine list.

In the very first look we found menu is versatile with different starters than usual Samosa and pakoda. But the taste was not so good and the quantity was very less in compare to price. Main course was ok and dessert were best. In all very much costly.

Delicious food - best Indian meal I've enjoyed in a long time! The decor is pleasant, and the tables not too close together, which gives it a relaxed and spacious feel - although the lighting is perhaps just a little dim. Friendly service, too. Highly recommended!

Nice and unusual Indian in Amstelveen area. Food was nice and tasty. Spice level is not adjusted for European scale so be careful if you order spicy food.

Quality Indian food, great bread. Cosy inside, service needs improving but they were clearly trying. I went for spicy and it was just that.

Reservation - via Iens.nl. Received well , prompt and courteous staff.

Location - Average , window outlooks ugly parking spot. Free (limited spots )parking after 6 pm.

Drinks - No small bottles of spa rood (sparkling water) were available , no fresh Orange juice was available (only canned) ,no tap water was served which is common with Indian food. It took 10-15 minutes to get our drinks. Mango lassi was average and my impression that fresh mangoes are not used and it was very sweet.

Food - We ordered 3 dishes . 1 butter chicken , 1 lamb tikka masala and 1 paneer tikka lababdar. Exact same gravy. Although it should be different. As a person with a lot of experience with Indian food , I think they make one gravy and just put chicken , lamb or fish in it. They just put more spice to make it mild, medium or spicy which in my opinion is not real reflection of Indian food.

Bread - Roti ki tokri - (5,50€) good option to try different kinds (4) of breads for a reasonable price.

Amritsari kulcha - comparatively expensive (4€) , and not worth it for 1 piece of bread.

Rice - they only serve rice with main dishes and it is not possible to get bread instead of it. What a pity not everyone likes rice and option should be provided. Rice is made well and of good quality . But again good rice is not why you want to eat outside. A decent rice cooker does the job.

Time taken - 45-50 minutes to serve main course

Sweet dish - we ordered gulab jamun. Again average dish and it took more 25 minutes to get them. One plate was hot (probably freshly prepared) while the other one was extremely cold (probably picked out from fridge). This dish is normally served hot.

Coffee, tea - reasonable Price , nothing fancy .

Bill payment - they did not have change which you expect from the restautant took some time to go next door to get some change.

20 euros per person for 4 people was not too expensive but we were in general not too happy with the evening.

The staff was again courteous , friendly.

Sadly there are not many options of real nice indian food for a reasonable price in Amsterdam Zuid/ Amstelveen area. Overal an average evening.

Excellent Indian food. The best Indian food I've tried in the Netherlands since coming here from the UK where there are lots of good Indian restaurants. Very nice decor, with good lighting and good atmosphere. Service was a little slow and confused at times, but overall a good effort.

I love Indian food and am very fussy. The food was incredible! By far the best Indian meal I have had in the Netherlands. The restaurant is newly opened and the service was friendly and good. There were families, couples and business groups so the word has definitely got around. We had tandoori chicken starter lamb main and both were excellent. The staff checked how spicy you wanted food and the spices were perfect for both of us mild and hot chilly lovers. The decor is really nice and a lot of care has gone into the look and feel. Reserve a place if your going on the weekend as I have a feeling this place will soon be very popular.
