They are serving Not Authentic indian recipes, tasty food but not worth for price . Their masala tea is really bad in taste and High price for everything even if a small quantity.

I have been to this restaurant a few years ago, thought i'd give it another try as i was taking some of my family members for lunch! however i was very disappointed with the portion sizes! they were incredibly small portions...and to charge the prices it was shocking! will not be going there again, the only good thing was the staff serving were very polite and friendly.

Staff were friendly and helpful, Food was delicious. Lamb Kofti and Homestyle Curry can be heartily recommended. Group of 8 of us had a fantastic evening.

Excellent food. Friendly staff. Although it felt like the kitchen was a little overworked as the food took 45 minutes to arrive. Luckily we had time to wait.

Really enjoyed my starters but thought the curry was more like a stew nd not enough flavour for my liking .Reasonably priced. Cold inside we had to moved and so did other people. Still worth a visit for a quick warming meal.

My first ever visit to Birmingham (!) to meet up with family who'd also travelled some distance, so it was with some trepidation that I booked lunch at the Indian Streatery. I needn't have worried! Super food (far removed from your usual High Street takeaway), attentive but not in-your-face service. Served at wooden tables that we saw being properly cleaned once vacated, and not a scrap of flock wallpaper in sight. Add to this heady mix some excellent local beers, and it's only a stone's throw from New Street, and it's 10/10 from me. I know where we'll be eating again next time we visit the city.

Really nice food and good service. The food here tastes lighter and fresher than at many Indian restaurants. Good choice of interesting starters and the various breads particularly are superior to your average restaurant naans. Two minutes walk from New St station so very convenient.

Lovely food, with very friendly and accommodating staff. I would recommend the Indian Streatery for a friendly welcoming atmosphere with good value food. They cater brilliantly for those who require Gluten Free foods too!

An amazing little restaurant. The menu choices all sound amazing, we tried 5 dishes which were all a taste sensation. The staff were attentive without being annoying. Totally authentic and would highly recommend, be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment by just turning up. I can obviously get busy at weekends.

I absolutely love this place, the food is consistently fantastic, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. It's rare that I go anywhere where I really want to try every single item on the menu. I've been twice now and so far the staples are the house black dhal and dad's lamb keema. Honourable mention for the bharta. I hope to return many more times to sample more of their great dishes

Booked for a table of twelve. They were very accommodating when we were running late and when 2 people had to drop out. Serving staff were keen to talk to us about the menu and gave useful recommendations. Food was excellent, would definitely go back.

Incredible food, terrific value for money. The service was excellent and the food was great, tasty and vibrant. The lamb pakora burger is always my go to and then a couple of tapas dishes
