We have just been for lunch at the Kings Arms yes they were busy which is a good sign but we were looking forward to have Sea base but they had ran out so we went for the Sunday lunch which was good but could have been better with more meat on the plate also the desert was very disappointing, I usually go for the standard apple pie or sticky toffee pudding but instead I went for the chocolate banana bomb what a waste of money one little slice of banana in a chocolate round shell come on please I don't mind paying for a banana split covered in chocolate but this was defiantly a rip off next time I will stick to what I like and know works.

This pub is in a lovely setting and last time we visited the food was delicious . This time two meals out of the four we ordered were awful. The fish was seriously overcooked with barely any fish inside, chips were undercooked and peas stone cold. The burger was also cold and burnt around the edges. Very poor considering the prices they charge.

Unfortunately a lot of the menu not available. The fish and chips wasn’t great and not really what I wanted. The staff were pleasant enough. Restaurant was too dark, found it difficult reading (I was a solo diner) and the internet didn’t work

The King’s Arms staff did their very best to give us a pleasant evening and the food was first class. HOWEVER THEY DID NOT HAVE OUR BOOKING FROM THEFORK !! The booking had been confirmed via email and TheFork App, AND I received several reminder texts. As it appears it had not reached The Kings Arms, we were told initially we’d have to wait till 9pm, but in the event they found a table in the bar for drinks, and eventually a table in the restaurant about an hour later. What is the point in using TheFork app, if it DOESN’T RESULT IN AN ACTUAL BOOKING !! DISAPPOINTED.

Nocerella olives on the menu were not what was served. Not all your customers are idiots. Food was mediocre. Might be an idea of an evening to give guests the choice of sitting with other peoples children or not. The temperature was quite cool in the restaurant, made the difference between staying for another drink and leaving. Restaurant area tired and grubby, but the staff were lovely. Even so, we won’t be returning.

Excellent choice on menu. Food really lovely & piping hot. Loving the new smaller pud & coffee for £5.25 what a sensible idea! Place was busy so ambience good. Staff very friendly & obliging. Prices were fair & I didn’t feel ripped off. Would definitely go again & recommend! The out of ten!

Only OK. Two courses were sold out. We had to ask for our wine selection three times before it arrived. We requested a delay to the serving of our starters but this did not happen.
