Really enjoyed the lunch. The green Humus was my highlight of the day. Kids were happy too.

While we only stopped in for appetizers and drinks , I think we got a good feel for the place. We got in at 5:20 and left about 6:30 pm. We ordered charred aubergine with creamed feta and fried zucchini. The eggplant dish was delicious and while the zucchini itself was cooked well, it did not come with any sauce or lemon. The staff was accommodating and did bring some wedges. Service was slow as we waited 40 minutes for the food.
But the most annoying aspect was the constant parading of hotel guests at the Holmes hotel parading past with rolling suitcases in tow. If in the area I recommend that you give it a try , but insist upon eating in the rear dining room to avoid the passersby.

Lovely building and ambiance, service was decent. Food was a big let down. Fish cakes for starter was small but tasty. Hake for main course at 23 gbp was tiny, the fish was not super fresh and it came with small amount of veg and no carbohydrates. I left there rather hungry.

We had high hopes for this restaurant as we had heard that the food was good and as a regular visitor to Marylebone was keen to try somewhere new. Firstly we were told that half of the wines on the list weren't available as they had had a busy lunch service. We ordered the whole sea bream as a main to share as it was for 2 people. The fish was served plain and was very over-cooked which was disappointing, however the potato salad it came with was very nice. Finally and most disappointingly of all, towards the end of the meal we saw both a rat, quickly followed by its baby (or a mouse) run backwards and forwards along the floor and under the tables. When we told the waiting staff, they barely reacted and seemed totally unfazed by the idea that their restaurant has rodents.

What a great discovery! The restaurant is very nice and provides enough space to feel good. The food was really tasty and reasonably priced for the quality served. Special mention to the grilled sea bream, excellent!

Some were unnecessarily precooked and reheated like the turkey and the bass. It is expected at such prices to cook them on time. Also the panetone was stale. Pitta bread was not grilled and cauliflower Croquettes lost their crispiness from the reheating. Also the sylvaner lost its freshness etc etc

The staff were initially slow to start service probably due to the time of booking., but it did improve the longer we were there.
