10/10We have been to The Lamb before and it never disappoints. Lovely surroundings, excellent, prompt service, fantastic food and good prices. We have nothing but praise for this rural gem.

10/10We had a lovely family meal here this afternoon. Our 15 month grandson was able to totter about and we were welcomed by all staff. The food was great.

10/10The restaurant and pub is lovely. However do not use Fork to make bookings...they had no knowledge of our booking again. This seems to be a SCAM. Avoid it....

4.5/10We were welcomed and shown to a table near the fire which was nice. Having dined at a couple of Vintage Inns recently I wanted to try something different. I chose the Steak & Red Wine Pie, hoping that the meat would be tender. Unfortunately I was only able to eat 4 pieces of meat, 2 of which were very chewy. The remainder of the meat was gristly. Not worth the money to say the least!

8/10I asked for a table on the internet booking for the restaurant on the right of the main door. We were showed to a table in the bar entrance area. We were told we don’t book certain tables. The service was hit and miss, whether they saw you or not, we had different staff who ever saw us or not. Main course were taken by a waiter who took two plates and didn’t come back for the others. We had to ask for dessert menu after a long wait. Being in the entrance bar area, we had a crowd in the area waiting for there table, some were standing a foot from our table while we were eating. So I was not over impressed with the whole experience.

10/10We received a friendly welcome and prompt service at The Lamb. The food was excellent, our party of four all had different dishes and all were delicious. The prices were very reasonable and we shall definitely be returning.

7.5/10I had the roast beef. It was beautifully cooked and delicious. However, the vegtables could have been cooked a little longer so a bit softer. (Only my opinion because that how I like them). Unfortunately, we skipped the dessert because of the wait for dessert menu and ordering.

7.5/10One of the chain's that I don't often visit. Nice enough but a little expensive for what it offers, menu's quite standardized and perhaps interiors just a little uninspiring. Fine if options are limited which they are in this part of town.

8.5/10This was my first visit since before Covid and I was pleased to find it was as nice as I remembered. The food was very good but the service was a bit slow, especially for the later courses, but this was due to a large party coming in. Perhaps, this being pre-booked, extra staff should have been on duty. Strangely, there was no record of my booking despite my having re-confirmed only a few hours previously. Worth a visit though. I'll be back!

9.5/10Really amazing food. They were busy, but not too packed, on Bank Holiday Monday - really glad we went. We had drinks, mains and puddings, but I don't know the cost as I was treated, so can't comment on value. The food was excellent though!

10/10I have been to The Lamb a few times before. Each time the service has been outstanding and the food excellent. The building itself is stunning, very "olde worlde" and the real fireplace at this time of year is a lovey touch! Would definitely recommend this place to others and I'll be going again.
