The welcome by all of the staff and the food were absolutely without fault. We had a one hour wait after seating before our afternoon tea came to the table. We were a party of 17 but had confirmed attendance. We weren’t expecting to wait so long especially with kids in our group. The team did bring some cheeky taster sandwiches keep our munchkins from hanger. When it came… the afternoon tea was truly delicious. Dietary requirements were considered and catered for well.

The staff were helpful and super welcoming, the best thing is that they have Halal food but do not forget to alert the restaurant upon your reservation to have your sandwiches and your cakes freshly made Halal just prior your arrival and waiting for you.

Had such a lovely time. The afternoon tea was the beast we have ever had (and we have had a few!) - simply gorgeous. Staff were amazing. Such a beautiful treat.

My friend and myself thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea at the Library at the Edwardian Raddison on Friday December 2019. The atmosphere and the attentive staff was second to none. The sandwich fillings of roast beef, chicken and courgette and pesto were very tasty. The patisserie cake selection was exquisite and plentiful,our favourite being the Black Forest gateau. As we were finishing our waitress brought out a decorated plate with Happy Birthday and a further 2 small cakes for my friend. She was delighted with this lovely gesture. We certainly will return in the future and recommend it to anyone celebrating a special day/anniversary or just for the experience of afternoon tea in one of Manchester's most iconic buildings.
