Not having an obvious front desk left us a little lost at first but as soon as we were seen the attention was maintained. Food delivery was a little slow and noticeably the plates weren't heated enough before loading and bringing to the table. Food quality and quality was good.

One of the choices on the main menu was slow cooked pork with crackling. There was no way that the pork had been slow cooked as it was as hard as an old boot. The crackling was soft but was replaced by crisper crackling. The other three meals were satisfactory and the desserts fine. The service was rather slow and our impression was that they are understaffed. Vintage Inn menus (main courses) have much less choice these days. One of our party has an allergy to fish which further restricted choice. So, taking all things together, we are unlikely to return in the near future.

The food is absolutely beautiful perfectly served and value for money. The pub itself is just lovely, great atmosphere clean and comfortable. The staff were really lovely. Not mothering every two minutes and giving time between courses .. perfect

Lovely place I took my 2 adult disabled stepchildren and my 2 granddaughters , we went for 1 of my granddaughters 13th birthday, 1 of my stepchildren is deaf so shouts and nothing at all was said . Also the other people eating there were very kind and not stairring or complaining it was lovely and will definitely return

Fantastic food and service as always. We had the lamb roast. There was plenty of meat and veg. Good value for money. Would recommend it. We will be back soon.

We have always enjoyed the food here but today it was sadly lacking. Menu choices were limited but I chose the duck with noodles. Veg was that tough I had to ask for a steak knife. Noodles were good though. Hubby chose the sea bass which sounded fantastic but really wasn’t great. Should have had the carvery which never disappoints. Will be pleased to see lasagne and gammon back on the menu, also blade of beef too. Fantastic staff and so nice to se Juan too.

Very disappointed. One of my friends just wanted a starter and sweet and requested she got starter with our main course. The starter arrived on its own. We waited a further hour for our main courses. One of our group didn't enjoy her food. Altogether it was a most disappointing experience and we will not be returning. They didn't charge for the sweet because of the delay.

We arrived early and we’re shown immediately to a very quiet shaded table on a hot day. The staff were lovely and we had about 4 of them checking everything was OK. The food was good as described.

There wasn’t a single vegetarian option on the main menu. This seemed incredible and we even asked to make sure we weren’t mistaken. This was so disappointing as we were left with the choice of having a starter as the main course (mushrooms and bread) or a burger from the snack menu. We left without ordering.

Ordered and then told one of the veggie options not available. Food not hot, warm at best. Bar staff not attentive even after being told by another member of staff someone waiting did not venture more than three feet to see. Felt sorry for serving staff as under pressure obviously but no customer service. Had to go looking for condiments knives and forks. It’s s shame as it’s a lovely picturesque pub it just underwhelms every time we’ve visited.
