    Beautiful setting, amazing food, incredible wine, not more one could ask for. Highly recommend having a special occasion at Wine&Co, even if the occasion is a Saturday Lunch

    I like steaks so the restaurant is great for that. Booked dinner midweek for some peace and quiet but it was buzzing with parties - great for the restaurant, not for me. A little difficult to catch attention of wait staff but food was good.

    Love the beef rib. Ordered salad with full rack of rib but unfortunately delivered chips with ribs. The staff quickly corrected the mistake and delivered salads. Nothing to fault. Best ribs!

    From being totally ignored when we arrived through to being dealt with summarily by a waitress with unreasonable attitude.. there’s hardly any bar lower by which to judge ‘service’ Food isn’t so wonderful/ the fried onions accompanying the sausages were dusted with.. SUGAR!! And I was denied being able to order my burger medium rare because- management actually said this! > you could get food poisoning from the minced meat if we don't cook it all the way through the patty!!!! I pointed out they served TOTALLY RAW beef >>so how come partly-cooked beef wasn't safe to eat ?..It turns out the mince in fact ISNT FRESHLY /DAILY PREPARED as is their tartare--so the admission doesn't say much for the quality of what they're supposedly famous for! Huge effort by management was indeed made to balance this nonsense - but the filet steak I subsequently was obliged to order in order to enjoy beef medium rare had a weirs "crust" so THAT wasnt such a great steak even priced at over $50! The complimentary desserts ( not much good) couldn’t make up for a poor experience we suffered --at quite a high price. Very noisy ..poor service ...& rather disappointing food. Not recommended .

    I was a little disappointed with the quality of the steak in the express lunch deal...didn't seem as good quality as should have been. In saying that, it tasted good, just a bit chewy. I loved the pork belly entree and my ribs were fall off the bone good, although some dipping sauce for it should have been provided. My husband's bruschetta starter was ok...a bit bland, but very filling. It was very noisy inside, and not sure why nobody was seated down near the windows overlooking the harbour, but many, like us, were stuck in a little nook area that was walled off so you couldn't really see any view, and made it a bit noisier If I went back I would see if we could be seated there instead.

    I am gonna break my “no bad review on restaurants” virginity this time….. The onion ring I had one piece and I can’t convince myself to take another bite. It’s utterly bitter; mostly likely the kitchen used the overnight oil or repeated heating cooking oil to deep fry this can’t-go-wrong side dish! Basically, I donated $10 to this dish which is almost not touched. Then the main half rack pork ribs which was charged $43, I can do better at home. Admittedly, the rib quality is good; however the execution of the chef playing with this rib is very poor, causing a stubborn, black oily substance called creosote to form on the rib, the taste is simply unacceptable and very bitter. I had to order a fresh bowl of water to wash away the disgusting sticky sauce on top of it otherwise it’s not edible. Overall speaking, the service is friendly and professional; that’s a major reason I didn’t bother to complain to ask to return 2 dishes and also I am running out of time for an event afterwards.

    Great experience taking the family to M&W Co. The service is always great, we got a top floor seating with great views of Barangaroo and the sunset and the food was really tasty.

    Popped in for their Express Lunch on a Thursday afternoon at around 2 pm. Place was still busy - sign of a good restaurant. Was seated upstairs with a lovely view of the harbour. Had the Szechuan calamari and 250g Shorthorn rump. Both cooked to order and very nicely. The service was attentive but not fussy. Out within 40 minutes - talk about express! Good value, good food and good service. Will be back to try the beef ribs (house speciality, apparently).
