10/10Excellent waiting staff, and excellent food, we came for brunch, my mother and my aunt, the gentleman that served us was a highly well trained waiter and made our experience one to repeat very soon !

5.5/10I really want to like Merchants but I will not be returning. The steak was good, the chips soggy, the vegetables uninspiring, but what ruins everything is the music, far, far, far too loud - like an 80’s disco. They say they can’t turn it down as it comes from the hotel but quite frankly it makes it impossible to have a conversation. It ruins the ambience. Also they add a tip without telling you that they have done it. I take umbrage at that. A gratuity is at the discretion of the patron.

4/10So dark we had to use a torch to read the menu. The food was terrible, my steak was inedible and my wife's salad was boring and tasteless. The wine was ok and the whole experience cost £120.

8/10Food and service are very good ss is the ambience .A bit overpriced sides small portion at £8 and sauces at £5 when a fillet steak is already priced at £41 so steak fries veg and sauce £62 a little over the top!
