3.5/10Terrible, no lobster! Or any dishes with lobster. The waitresses couldn't apologise more after we waited 2 1/2 hours for the main course.. The management was useless. He refused to admit it wasn't a problem that there was no lobster in a lobster restaurant. All he did was just blame the chef. It took so long to get the main course which I ended up sending back anyway. So many beautiful restaurants in Portals, but this is definitely not one.

5.5/10We enjoyed the restaurant’s ambience, wait staff was lovely to us but kitchen so slow and didn’t think the food was great - they gave us Cava as we waited 1 hr for the food. We ordered a Sea food tower and whole lobster. Sea food tower was meant to have mussels and didn’t, but we got oysters instead, scallops, octopus, crab and prawns - so all ok but we ordered the whole lobster as well and it looked like two different halfs, only 1 claw and very dry - if you’re here for drinks and location, you’ll have nice time but don’t go there hungry - I have to say again… staff on terrace was so so lovely

3/101. No communication between waiters and kitchen, side orders came 10 mins after mains. By this stage food was cold. 2. Asked for water several times before it was delivered. 3. Gluten free ice cream was served with a biscuit base. Shocking, over priced food, inept staff with no clear management or guidance. Such a shame, the setting is stunning. Things deserve to be much better in this beautiful location. How on earth is this possible Merchants? We are local residents, and dine out regularly in the locality. We will certainly not be recommending this establishment to any of our friends.

9/10The food was great there an the service was outstanding. The portions of the starters were to small, but the flavor was excellent . The picanton was perfectly cooked, potato's a little bit hard but excessive . Was a good bite. The esteak was cooked to perfection and great quality ,however the rosemary was little bit overwhelming.(Maybe a little bit of rosemary smoke would be sufficient as the dish was excepcional. The truffle potatoes didn't meet my expectations, found them soggy and oily, but was my perception. However , we're ok as my wife had them. The desert was also great, as delivered what promised, but little bit

8/10It's a beautiful venue which we've been to before when it was under a previous ownership. The menu is varied, the quality of the food is quite good but the prices are incredibly high. Fortunately we dined there on a special discount offer of 50% from The Fork - the bill came to €115.78. We shared a delicious prawn TNT as a starter & a lovely bottle of wine at €37.00. My husband had a steak (good, but not exceptional), I had sea bass which was very pleasant. My husband had accompanying chips for the steak & I had roast potatoes & green beans, all of which were an extra cost. We shared a cheese cake for desert. Without the discount, the bill would have been in excess of €180.00. On a positive note, the staff were charming, attentive & very helpful.
