10/10Magda and the team provided a superior service with Toren cooking delicious food for our anniversaries - it was good to receive good old fashioned five star service in convivial surrounding - super location for visiting Jodrell Bank

10/10I requested a romantic table so that I could propose to my girlfriend. We were give an area on our own, couldn't be better. She said yes. The food was excellent and the waitress was lovely. Thanks for helping make our evening one to remember.

10/10Excellent food, I couldnt fault anything. I had the pan fried king prawns to start which were very tasty, followed by a lovely and plentiful sea bass dish. The service was very good too. Happy to recommend.

9.5/10The Merlin is a lovely pub with welcoming staff. Service very good, food excellent. Can definitely recommend the Fillet Steak Sandwich with sweet potatoes fries, it is my 'go to' choice. My son had the Dirty Burger which he said was delicious. The food is always of an excellent standard.

7.5/10Really enjoyed the dirty burger and fries with the dripping sauce! Staff are nice and service was good. Didn't have a great experience last time with an I.D. situation for my daughter and her partner who's birthday it was and 25, had no I'd on her other than a picture of their passports and driving licence on their phone. Which was refused!, so we left, very unhappily. But we have been back and enjoyed it again. Just a shame that night was ruined. However, we will go back. Just make sure if you are lucky enough to not look 30! Have I.D. the service last night was much better. The food is generally very nice. Just don't have the Rumbaba dessert and is is just sponge cake an certainly not what you expect when you have the real thing in Italian restaurants.
