Poor quality food matched by poor quality service. Disappointing but experience at the Oystercatcher is extremely variable ranging from very good to poor.

The Oystercatcher was very unwelcoming - cold and totally lacking in ambience. Food was disappointing though service was reasonable. Would not recommend.

We were not allowed to sit at the table we booked due apparently to a staff shortage. Within minutes however someone else was sitting at that very table!

We went to the oystercatcher as we had been before and knew the food would be good, this visit was to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed.

I always go to the Oyster Catcher, even Christmas Day several times. Always take people there, it's fairly local and the Staff are very personable. I really cant say I've had a bad meal there.

Everything was as to be expected. No surprises, good or otherwise. Very friendly staff and a quiet ambience. A casual lunch with a friend. I will definitely visit again
