I have been coming to The Packe Arms for years. The service, food and atmosphere is always top notch. This time I had Beetroot Arancini on a bed of rainbow cousous, classic fish and chips (super fresh, chunky fish and crispy batter) and the mini pud and hot drink combo which is a great idea if you haven't got room for a full sized pudding. The new range of alcohol free drinks are also great. I had elderflower and mint.

It wasn’t my first experience here and I’d say I had better memories. Yesterday it wasn’t the greatest Sunday roast ever, relatively small portions but still a bit pricey. Pudding wasn’t great either, the crumble pie was almost completely missing the crumble .

A bit on the pricey side but good service you can only do so much with a Sunday roast and they did ok, the veg were far too hard for my liking would be better if you received a jug of water rather than keep having to ask for a new glass, however would return ( but not on a Sunday )

We had a night out for our wedding anniversary and the setting, food and service were spot on. Good choice of dishes on the menu, all well presented.

There were not many diners, I thought we could have been given a choice of table. Otherwise good food from the Vintage Inns menu and good service.
