The Pantry at The Bath Priory

We were welcomed with warm greetings and offered inside or outside for drinks and dining. The menu was accessible to a fussy teenager whilst also showing fabulous quality and choice. The service throughout was exceptional and the food was delicious. This was a special occasion so the price was reflective of the amazing experience we had and would absolutely recommend a visit.

It was all lovely, special dietary quirks catered for beautifully. One of my favourite places for afternoon tea, just perfect!

The team at Bath Priory are excellent. We visited for Afternoon Tea and everything was exceptional. We were very impressed with the staffs knowledge of Tea, Coffee and food. The way in which the choice of tea is offered is unique, the setting beautiful and sandwiches/cakes were excellent. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Expectation did not live up to reality. When we arrived felt that it was very difficult to get the attention of staff members and were often left without being checked on for long periods of time. We were not offered top ups or refills, which is not something you would expect from a five star afternoon tea experience. The food was fine, the scones were exceptional but apart from that it was very underwhelming. Plus, the room we were in was very run down and in need of painting touch ups.

lovely food good service.however please lose the music. it did not quite ruin the atmosphere but did not enhance it.

My friend and I had an enjoyable afternoon tea celebrating my friends birthday, the tea was everything we could have wished for, yummy sandwiches, light scones with cream and jam and cakes to die for, thank you Priory of Bath

Experienced afternoon tea, overall everything was fine.....nice seating area, food was good and lovely grounds. Server was not very attentive, never checked back with us after delivering tea, (I had to get up and find her to ask for water). What was not enjoyable...A young woman arrived with a 4 month old baby, it was apparent the staff knew her, sounded as if she previously worked at the hotel. What was intended to be a quiet, peaceful time quickly turned into a employee reunion, the baby of course was fussy (as babies are) and between the staff conversations and baby crying, it was not a very pleasant time. * Suggestion- employees should meet in non-public areas of the hotel.*
