The pub was quiet for our booking at 3pm. The Bar Manager made us feel very welcome and showed us to our reserved table. The menu was not over busy and the food delicious when it came. Gave a 4 star rating on service because, considering how quiet it was, our food came out longer than we would have expected. We were catching up as old friends so we're chatting and didn't notice the wait. Needless to say it was a lovely experience and I'll definitely come back. Took advantage of the 50% off offer but price still very reasonable even without it.

We had a lovely lunch. As its rating says “outstanding”. Lovely staff, really tasty food we had the chicken wings and a special hamburger. Heartily recommend.
