8.5/10Really good overall, VERY busy quite family orientated in the Snug / stable area. Food quality and warmth MUCH better than expected, Meat / Chicken portion sizes smaller, Dessert great. Staff service from the Manager and his young team very good indeed. Beer and wine good too.

8.5/10Great location, lovely decor and food has really improved since I was last there. Excellent service - and when i didn't like the wine, it was no trouble to have it replaced. We will be back! Was also impressed that they asked about allergies - my daughter is coeliac so we have to be careful. Well done!

7/10Today it felt understaffed. Most of the 6 plates of food Served were very nice , scallops were very disappointing, staff had apparently gone on breaks leaving 1 poor girl serving alone. So we waited half hour for deserts.

5/10The food was acceptable however the service was very slow for a restaurant that was relatively quiet. We were sat at a table in the corner by a window that was absolutely filthy and there was dirt on the window sill. There was also a lot of paint chipped off the wall. It made the restaurant look tired, uncared for which is a shame as we really enjoy coming here.

8/10I had a pizza and I added bacon and pineapple. The pizza was lovely and thin and the added bacon was crisp and tasty. However, I was disappointed at the added pineapple. There were approximately six SMALL pieces.

8/10Pleasant staff. Good food. Stopped for coffee before a walk then had lunch on our return. Good menu, both food and drinks. Would recommend for lunch. Service a little slow but not a problem

8/10Nice atmosphere, comfortable, rustic, cosy. Expensive so expected quality, but food was nothing special. Service was good/polite albeit waited quite a while for food but was Friday night and busy. Looking forward to cheese board but was not available on the night!?
