10/10The tasting menu that we had was exemplary- beautifully cooked and wonderfully presented! The service was top drawer, our waitress was super knowledgeable about the dishes and wine pairings! The wines added to each dish and the taste of the dishes and wines added to the enjoyment of this excellent meal!

9.5/10Excellent presentation and service. But above all, food was fantastic. The scallop surf and turf as starter plus the full of flavour and colour monkfish were absolute winners. Highly recommendable.

9.5/10This lunch reservation was to celebrate my daughters forthcoming birthday and for her to meet my partner. The meal was excellent, with super attentive staff. The starter (scallops) were a hit for all of us, I had the lamb rump which was cooked to perfection with the most incredible pistachio soufflé and pistachio iced cream. What a delightful experience. Thank you so much to all involved making a truly special event just a little bit more special than it could have been ????????

6.5/10When I arrived about 15 minutes late ,my two guests had not been asked if they had a reservation and were not offered a drink or even enquired who they were waiting for! I booked several days ago on Open Table for 1 pm. The waiting staff were polite and we ordered our food. the food came up in good time but the potions were tiny but what we had was well executed and full of flavor, the same applied to the main course very well cooked but tiny portions, we ordered coffee which never appeared and paid the bill which I had to go to the bar area to ask for .

3.5/10The ambience of the restaurant was ruined by thumping music from the mix DJ placed in the centre of the restaurant. It was very loud and piped into all areas, so no escape. Despite it being quiet when we arrived, it took an hour to receive our drinks and amuse bouche. When our food arrived, the starters were small but ok, but all 3 main courses were tepid and my pasta dish so cold, I had to send it back. The bill was over £160 for 3 (with 4 drinks). They did remake my pasta dish and didn’t charge for it, but I was left eating when everyone else had finished. I wouldn’t recommend based on my experience.

10/10Felt like a Michelin star meal, food was great, immaculate presentation. There was a brilliant live dj too, playing beats not too loud or too funky, the music was perfect for the setting

10/10Had lunch in the small garden. It was a true oasis! Quiet and serene with even a small waterfall. The food was amazing. Small portions which actually was good when you have several courses. Very good value for money with £33 for a top notch 3 course lunch.

10/10I was looking for somewhere special to go for our anniversary. After a lot of searching and reading of reviews I chose The Reading Room. Wow!! What a find. Everything was excellent. Food exceptional. As good if not better than the Michelin starred restaurant we ate at a few weeks earlier. Service quietly efficient. Would definitely recommend and will return.

10/10Amazing food and good service. To top it up, the "Secret Garden" is a great find and very much worth it. Overall an amazing experience, especially if you go for the tasting menu.
