9.5/10A very pleasant lunch with friends. Super service that was not intrusive and allowed us to chat. Very good food too. Would recommend it and will be back.

9/10The food was delicious. The staff were welcoming and the service was rapid and efficient. There was a very pleasant atmosphere in this pub. We enjoyed our meal. It was a Sunday evening and most other restaurants were closed. We were delighted to find the Red Lion open and happy to serve us. We will go back soon, we hope :)

10/10Fabulous food with a varied menu catering for all food tastes with lovely, helpful staff. The coconut curry was beautiful. Will definitely be returning very soon.

9/10Nice pub with friendly staff. Not over busy but pleasant surroundings and atmosphere. Ordered the cheese soufflé for starter and whilst not inedible was not what I’d call a soufflé.

10/10First time at this lovely pub. Decided to eat here after looking at several other places, who's menus were less than exciting. Our host for the evening, Andy, was excellent. The food was superb and the pub had real ambience. Thoroughly recommend

9.5/10We booked for a light lunch at The Red Lion, Handcross, we were in quite early, the covid rules were strictly adhered to and the staff very attentive. Our meals came in good time, the food was very good. I will be going back.
