Great service & delicious food! Although there were others in the garden, we had the dining room to ourselves & really enjoyed being looked after.

There were 4 of us and 2 had the risotto, which was excellent and 2 the roast beef which was good but suffered from dry roast potatoes. The biggest let down was front of house. It is obvious that the staff had little or no training in serving - at a basic level: The waitress served in front of us and not from behind so she was reaching across us The lad laying up was picking and placing the forks by the tines instead of handles The person delivering the drinks was holding the glass by the top rim Unfortunately it was bad enough to mean that I won't be going there again and it is a shame because the food was good
